A nice Good Friday Morning here and not so hot today, just some nice 70's! Maggie is feeling good today, but no zoomies and no lb yet. Maybe those last few days were just a flare or something. She still needs a thorough six month Senior kitty check-up, especially renal values. Vetty appt. early Monday at 8 am, so it's worrisome with her needing another dental. She seems prone to the resorbtive lesion toothies. I only bought two cans of the Nature's Variety Instinct Chicken, and it's all gone, so a trip to either Petco or Pet People. The Phosphorus value is 0.20% . I like the little PetPeople store, as it's right next door to CVS, Vons Grocers, a coffee shop, Fish 'n' Chips restaurant, and McDonalds. It may be difficult to leave!
Special thoughts and vines for Linda and her sweet boy Teddy. Healing vines to all kitties not eating and feeling well this week.

The Nature's Variety Instinct Chicken agrees with her and no spike. I also tried a brand called "Innova" - is that the same as Evo? Maggie ate it, but I need to check the carbs in it? So far so good with some new fuds, I may be able to wean her off the FF.

Hi guys .. beautiful numbers maggie .. yay on no food spike with the new fuds! I have heard of Innova, but I thought it was just dry, obviously not .. I hope the vet visit goes well for you on monday .. Have a great weekend!

Great numbers there for Maggie. I know Innova and Evo are made by Natura. I'm not sure about the carbs.

Sounds like you've got fun shopping ahead- that does sound like a fabulous shopping plaza! Nice numbers for Miss Maggie this morning- keep it up girl!

+4 133

Oops! No more Innova; that will teach me to get the carbs first!

Hi Devon, thanks for the good luck on Monday. I hope you and Mocha have a great day.

Hi Ann, thanks on the numbers. I think I will stick with Nature's Variety chicken. I didn't have time to Google Innova yet, but Mags likes the NV chicken anyway!

Ann, I haven't tried Nature's Variety yet, so I think I will look into it. I'm always up to trying to find something that Simon will like that won't spike his bg. I also wondered about the Innova and the carbs in it. I haven't tried it but since Maggie's bg went up after it, Simon's probably will too. They both are so sensitive to this food thing. Have a great day and happy shopping.

PMPS 121

Thanks Linda and Georgia for the visit. So far Maggie is loving the Nature's Variety Instinct, and she came down nicely for the PMPS. Georgia, I mistakenly thought the Innova was Evo; I need more sleep. It does have grains in it.

Maggie had a good cycle today! I hope this keeps up and the new food is helping with her numbers, fingers and paws crossed.

Hi - it's me, late as usual.  Looks like Maggie had a great day! And almost green with that +3. So close!

I hope Maggie has a good check up - and maybe not a dental? I remember her last one... what a night for you!

No help on the foods. But I will look for that low phosphorous one,a s my eldest is supposed to be watching hers...

Have a great night - :-D

What a very nice report and a super nice day for Maggie!!!

Sure hope the vetty visit goes well and all renal values are stable and I hope she has no lesions. My cats get those too....the vet said it doesn't matter how much we brush their teeth (every day), the resorptive lesions develop independently of that.

Have a great evening.

Great numbers for Miss Maggie tonight!!! This food table has numbers for both Innova and Nature's Instinct. The Innova Cat/Kitten is 9% and The Nature's Instinct chicken is 3% while the lamb is 1%. I had bought the Innova, but returned it when I realized it was higher carb than practical for daily use for Willie, but have been incorporating the Nature's Instinct. Good luck!

Have a great night!

Wow Miss Mags! Those are some nice AT green numbers there little missy. Now, don't drop too low and scare your ever lovin' bean! ;-)

I'm late here, too (or is that "early????") I switch Trix to a 50/50 of Nature's Variety Instinct Chicken/BG Chicken a week ago and saw instant improvement in her numbers - starting with that very cycle! I tried one meal with 50/50 BG/Blue Wilderness and she still had good numbers, but not quite as good as with the Instinct. Hopefully it will keep working for Maggie as well, too! It seems that some of our kitties here are just so sensitive, even to foods that are supposed to be low-carb.
