yes, most deli meats do contain some sugar but some protein as well but nothing compared to dry food which is basically pure sugar.

100 PMPS, so i eyeballed what i have and very carefully gave him what i believe is 1.5 UI, we shall see what effect this has since he's already so low.

Have you tried just boiled or raw chicken/turkey meat? Might be better than the maple turkey meat as sometimes it's high in salt.

I would stop the maple turkey deli meat as it has sugar and salt. Then you can get a sense of what the 2 u is . doing.

I understand, but it really is a small amount, just a treat for dealing w/the blood testing.

Didn’t take much to raise the BGS. Try some freezer dried chicken or turkey treats instead. Cats and dogs both love them! No carbs and very low Carbs
