Ahh I remembered seeing something about getting Emla cream from the vet somewhere, but couldn't remember what it was called or where I saw it. The spray I got is Vetericyn Hydrogel antimicrobial spray, seems to have good reviews so I thought I'd give it a shot

And so far staying steady! I thought he might bail before we saw a green, but we'll see
He's feeling GREAT tonight too
we took a 45 minute walk (usually maybe 15 min) and he decided to take us to parts of the neighborhood he'd never been before, did a LOT of good sniffing
