After last night's party Fistuk is now down to 1.25U. I wonder if he'll do down as quickly as he climbed up. Looks like he's an all-in kinda' guy, just like his mum :woot:

I did feel the HG coming and bc of the spikes I actually asked him last night to go low but gently to reassure my theory that his body is strategising against HG. So I'm grateful for the confirmation.

I shot low before but this morning is the lowest. I'm dying to go back to sleep a bit but I'll stick around to monitor more closely.

He still doesn't necessarily poop by himself everyday but he doesn't look uncomfortable and it doesn't affect his appetite to mood or anything. Nevertheless last evening I gave him half Microlax and indeed he had a small piece that was dark and hard. I started adding again 1/16tsp psyllium. I stopped for a few day bc I needed to experiment and learn how he is with and without. I was concerned that 1/8 was too much so this time I'll go slowly and continue with 1/16 for a week and see what it does.

Other than that my heart continues to bleed. I cry a lot. The reality of things is heartbreaking, really difficult to believe that it's real.

Hope you're all safe out there. Kitties keep on being boring, life is much more delicious that way :bighug::bighug:
 
Hi shelly I'm glad that fistuk is doing so well, you are a tireless mother, worthy of admiration, you get strength wherever you can. I can't say the same for me, my tiredness gets the better of me. I send prayers for the people who died in the war and for it to stop at once... have a good weekend you and the kitty.:kiss::bighug:

I know how nervy that could be! Another titanium balls for you!
It is heartbreaking to see what is going on out there.
It is hard for me to see the TV news - too much cruelty and agony.
If this is this hard for me, I can't imagine what you must be feeling.

Good morning, Shelly. Great job taking care of Fistuk and on the reduction. His numbers are looking amazing. You’re such a great cat Mom/Mum to him.

Very happy to hear he is doing better with less constipation. I’m sure he feels much better. Maybe just a maintenance dose of 1/16th tsp as you said will keep him more regular.
I give Ivy a maintenance dose, as prescribed by my vet for several years. Seems to keep her regular.

Please take good care of yourself as well. I know this is such a painful time with all that is going on. I’m sure it’s good for you to feel you are helping in any way you can for those in desperate need.

It is, but I shot so many times with Fistuk at lows that I'm quite chill non LOL

It is, Kit. I appreciate your empathy and sensitivity. I get these videos directly to my whatsapp from friends. It is heartbreaking. Really tough. I'm happy to hear about anyone who's willing to watch bc it's important to stay aware of what's going on :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thank you for your support and care. Last night I asked how can I help and this morning the requests came in so I'm on it. The gap between what I do and what's needed is as big as the site of this unspeakable event.

It is. And I'm not in support of the war or bombing Gaza. It hurts me very much. At the moment I'm praying that the people and children who were kidnaped will be returned home and I'm helping in any way I can xx

I half expected Fistuk to give me another lime party tonight... getting to 61 at +3 seems like it.
I gave him food but had to take the plate away bc he seemed to plough through it and I want to make sure he eats later if I need to pick him up...
I wonder what test I should take next? @Angela & Cleo @tiffmaxee
Normally +4 doesn't tell me much so perhaps +5 or even +6 I just don't want him to go low and miss it..
