Good Morning LL! Sorry to post so late last night, I was getting my head around the info on the new ab, Orbax. She didn't want to eat afterwards, but it could have been from the extra fuds yesterday. Appy was good this morning and no vomiting yet, paws crossed. There were some scary side effects, but after reading the info sheet they were in tests that way over dosed. I'm being ultra careful w/ the dose and under dosed last night until i can get her weighed at the vet again today. I've found a small bump on her check that i want checked out. Probably nothing, but i not a scab as I originally thought.

WCR All 5 Ps, Clean Plate Club, and a busy day today. I'll get back to condos later, I promise!

Re: 10/13 Tess AMPS~150

I used Orbax on Kibby once, when Clavamox was making him pukus. I was really pleased with the results. I hope it works well for Tess. Glad she's feeling better this morning, and what a lovely string of numbers!

Morning Ann ~O) ~O) ~O)

Good appy vines, good AB vines for Miss Tess. I hope all that goes well. Extra good on your research on Orbax. I hope it proves to be a good alternative for Tess.

Numbers are rally great yesterday, and today. GO TESS!

Have a good one today. Sometimes busy is good, and can be a ton of fun. Enjoy!

   Not a bad day for Tess except for the vetty visit and a stranger visiting and making noise! He even rode in the car w/ her! confused_cat A little surprised at the +11~70, but Tess was too skittish w/ the stranger here and the vet visit to eat her +6 snack. Her appy is good tonight, she kept following every time we went into the kitchen!

The bump was just a small cyst, Dr S pricked it w/ a needle and squeezed out some dark material. Under the microscope she said it was skin and pigment cells, it was odd but nothing to worry about. Afterwards I couldn't feel it any more. Some warm compresses to keep it from closing over too quickly. And Tess weighed in at 8.8 pounds so the dose of is a safe one. :-D :-D If she had gone under 8.5 it would be a slight overdose. Also she had used Orbax before and thought the ab would be good for Tess, that made me feel better, not such an experiment. She said it was a form of Baytril, which I had at least heard of and to give for 10 days. It is also much more shelf stable than Clavamox and can be kept , not thrown out right away.

We played hooky the rest of the afternoon and went on part of the local Open Studio Tour. fun stuff and nice to get out.

Good news on the bump. Mannie has had something similar once too, turn out to be nothing, just like you described. Also good news on the Orbax - that must be a huge reef for you. I hope it works out well for Tess.

very cool that you could go and play hooky... we all need to do that sometimes - it keeps us sane. :-D

Have a great evening!

That is good news about the bump. Jeesh, it's always something, isn't it? You are such dedicated beans. Paws crossed on the orbax.

Re: 10/13 Tess AMPS~150 PMPS~85

Hi Ann & Tess & John,

So nice to see a green PMPS and to hear that Orbax isn't as scary as it seemed (I still have mine, so if I have to use it at some point, I will do so). Good news on the "bump", too.

Have a great rest-of-the-weekend.

Hugs from us,
Ella & Rusty

Hi Tess, let's go back to the lagoon after Kismet's party, OK?
