All is well in MannieLand. :-D I wrote this yesterday - and I'll be darned if it didn't happen again today.. though one can added cheerios to the fuds raid... "Mannie once again confiscated DGS's very soft, very cuddly travel blanket out of his car seat. :shock: :o :lol: :lol: He does LOVE that blanket. I can't say that I blame him either - they ought to make the bean's blankets as soft... Yesterday also found Mannie once again in DGS's fuds... there was turkey on that plate and the Nanner King knew it. :lol: :lol: DGS was gracious enough to share - what a guy! I have never seen a bowl licked that clean - it even sparkled. :shock: :lol: :lol:" the kitty choir did wake me up, though she seems to be starting in a few hours earlier - not too sure what is up with that! :? and yes - we had whacking... the girls were at it again - still over the water dish.... WHAT A MESS! we ahd a good est feed shoot, breffis consumed with gusto, clean late club status maintained. napping in progress, with Mannie once again back on the nanner pile. Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D :-D

and I have today off from DGS duty... even though it is my designated care day. Seems that his other DGP's are back early from their three week vacation and want the little guy today. :YMSIGH: and couldn't wait til Monday, when we start anew. :roll: :roll: :roll: :roll: :roll: sheshshh! it irritates me beyond belief. oh well... I shall take the time and do a few exploratory hikes on my own, ones I wanted to check out to see if they are DGS friendly. So we shall! We are back on duty tommorrow. :-D

Hey everybody!!!! OK!! I am in the mood for some dune buggy's in the sand!! We haven't had them out in ages!! Maybe some grillin' in the desert too. What'd'ya guys think? I am ready for anything!! ~~ Mannie

And completely OT: Below are some photos from the road trip DGS and I did yesterday. We had a ton of fun: visiting two waterfalls, and the river we went to last week. He enjoyed it so much that we went again yuesterday. It did not disappoint.

Take a breath, they probably thought they were doing you a favor giving you a day off. People don't think about plans changed at the last minute can be more of a hassle than no help. Enjoy your day, as Mannie is letting you go too.

Attention MANNIE: What are you doing up there? If you are trying to prove a point, it's proven now come on down. Guess the other DPS don't realize we all look forward to the Travels of Nicholas (and bean). Enjoy your exploring, find some nice falls (with rocks). I'm sure Nicholas will miss the daily excursion today so be prepared for tomorrow.

Hi guys .. oh ouch mannie .. pink, really? That's just silly .. I agree, adult blankets should be just as soft as baby blankets! Mannie is one smart little man to snatch up Nicholas's when he get's the chance .. Beautiful pictures again, always enjoy looking through your pictures .. such a beautiful area to live in .. Hi Michelle, that's too bad the others came home early and want Nicholas. He's really going to miss you, and I know you will miss him. He's such a good baby, or now he's a toddler, right! Gorgeous pictures and we can see by the look on his face how much he's enjoying himself. And now for Mannie Nanner, what's up with being on this floor. Come down and keep Maggie company. It looks like he's already slowly coming down. Those baby blankets are so soft that I can see why Mannie would snatch it. I look in the baby department for sales on baby blankets for Maggie. enjoy your day trip, and I believe Mannie is giving permission.

Hey Mannie, dune buggies in the sand sounds like fun and definitely some grillin of fish burgers and drinks, too. I'll be waiting for you to picks me up, thanks, Maggie

Mannie and Champ....what a pair!!! Champ got a bug up his butt and hit the red floor yesterday!! Mannie's +4 is looking a lot better that his start to the day. Come on, Mannie....down down down!!

Sorry you're losing your playmate today!! Bummer. I just told my daughter that when she gets married, she needs to make sure her in-laws don't live nearby cuz I won't want to share either!!!

At least you're heading in the right direction Mannie - good work! I hear you on the last minute changes - even if the change isn't a big deal, it's annoying. But I'm sure they missed the little guy. And you get a chance to find new places to take him. Have a great day Michelle.

Well pooey on the DGS being gone.....AND Mannie's numbers today. What is up with that dude?!?! We seriously thought liver training school was NOT in session for you. Cmon Mannie, everybody is rooting for you to come down today.

Mannie, i can't go anywhere today, my bean wants to spend the day with me before she goes back to work. Tomorrow?!?!?!?!?

I'm so sorry, Michelle, that you didn't have Nicholas today. I know you've been having some wonderful time with him lately. Glad you are on duty tomorrow....wow those three weeks went by fast. I hope you had a lovely hike.

Mannie...we have SOOOO much KTSS to do today!!! Garland and Zoe and Leo and Apollo and Boo and and and ....we absolutely MUST go visit Teddy at the vetty. Do you think we have enuff supplies????

btw...try Sarah Peyton's "Softest Blanket in the World".. we have about 10 of them, and they are the BOMB for adult sized comfort...
Though the kitters love them as well...

Bummer on the numbers! Bummer on the other DGPs coming home early and disrupting your day with Nicholas! But, tomorrow will be here before you know it. Mannie, were the crunchies good? I think that a discriminating chef could do better than Cheerios!!

Michelle, I hope you got a good hike scouted out today and that you'll be able to take Nicholas on it tomorrow. Let's hope for really good weather.

Hi Patty - RED for champ??? well, Mannie recently posted a 399... does that qualify? I bet those two were in cahoots at the party. Mannie decided that pink was the color of the day - at least tonight is better! and I know on no playmate! it's OK though - i don't mind sharing... that is so understandable. :-D

Hi Marje - seriously: cheerios! AND A BLANKIE!! I have to admit - that Blankie is REALLY NICE ! I wish it was about 15 times bigger.... :lol: and it is OK on DGS - really it is . Just annoyed with their timing... we are back on tomorrow, and then back to the three days a week. it's all good. YEP on teh hike - checked out three places for DGS - it was fun, beautiful day to be out.

Hi Ella - Thanks - I checked out three and one is a possibility. the other two are really nice and will be very good when he is a bit older. Right now we need shore access and an area he can explore. Two of them just didn't have that, though they were great paces. The last one was on a river, through a canyon (GORGEOUS!),and I found one spot that might work for him. YAY!!! and LOL on teh cheerios! i know... you think he'd do better when it comes to contraband. :lol: :lol:

Gracie - I know on the KTSS. I think the supplies are OK. I made a ton of soup today, so we can go and visit when we are done with the dunes. we gots to be careful though - no sand in the supplies. or the soup. :shock: AND A BIG YES ON TEDDY. I am so sad for my friend. See you soon ~~ Mannie
