Good morning everyone!
I want to thank you all again for your thoughts, advice, and information about switching Lou to Levemir after his Basaglar expires. I am thinking I may just give it a try. I think I'd regret it or always wonder if I didn't. The Basaglar expires at the end of December I believe, so I think I'll wait until just after Lou's dental before bringing it up, just in case a miracle happens there. (A girl can hope!)

Lou had a crappy day yesterday, his numbers staying in the 300s all day and when they finally started coming down at night, it was slow as molasses. Caleb found a bit of dumpling/potsticker on the floor from our dinner the night before, and he's wondering if Lou possibly got into it. No idea for sure, but the extended stint in high numbers certainly suggests he may have gotten into something. I'm hoping for better things today, especially with that AMPS! At least he's back at the beach, those pinks make me feel nauseous after a while!

Sometimes they just have a day you can't figure out. Olive did that on 4-6. Don't have a clue why all the high numbers except for possibly acro activity spurt.

He's dropping into amps, that would have me questioning if he was heading to the lagoon.
I would grab a +2, just to see if he shares his intentions for the day.

Well I guess that's the end of that. :banghead::banghead::banghead: Why does Caleb get the good numbers and I get the crap ones? Ugh, I know that's not actually the case, but gosh it feels that way sometimes.

I usually get +3s instead of +2s with Lou because they usually tell me more. If he's in the 100s or higher, I'll grab a +3, but if his PS is green, then I'll grab a +2. Obviously even with that process, sometimes I still have no idea what's actually going on. He likes to surprise me every so often, haha.

Sounds like my Ravan ! The other day amps was 417, so I thought ,a bounce. Checked +5 192 OK either he'll slowly go down or just stay in blue. Surprise :eek:+9 36? :eek: where did that come from!

Maybe it's a Kitty JOKE? Ha HA gotcha! Didn't see that com'in! :rolleyes:

And Luci is following suit today - her numbers are high - in the 300's. No evidence anywhere of contraband...I just don't get it...she gets a pokey break...after all those good days - she's gotta poop out on me...there's just no figuring it out at all...:facepalm:
 
I hope lou comes down for u, bella went through a period not long ago and I finally had to go to 2u
 
Yeah the increases and the continued jumps and stays in the yellows and pinks makes me think there's something going on. He's sat with his mouth hanging open for the last year, but it's been worse this last month (it hangs open wider and he's been doing it more often). He's started tilting his face to the left while eating, which makes me wonder if there's a wonky/painful tooth that's irritating him. So I hope we can get through the next 3.5 weeks with as much BG control as possible until his dental. I also hope that this dental can help him out, regardless of the severity. ...And if it's not his teeth, well, we'll cross that bridge when we get there, haha. But I'll keep up hope that it'll do him some good.
