Happy Caturday!!!! We're happy to hear that Tess and Tarragon are doing better and hope Tess does well with the Orbax. Sending healing vines still to Fitzel, Rocket, and Comet. OTJ congrats to Kismet and Courtney!!! Still rah rahing on the trials for Katmandu, Muffin, & Furball.

Thank you all for your well wishes for Gracie yesterday. She's doing better today. Temp is gone and swelling is down a bit. She is such an amazing little girl because even yesterday when she had a low grade fever, she was still playing. Not as wild as she usually does, but still playing. Today...she was wild again :-D :-D I got tons of stereo purring cuddles from she and Tobes this morning and she ate all her meals so she's doing well with the clavamox. She did great with it for six weeks but you never know if things can change. Yesterday was the first time Dr. W had ever seen her and she just went on and on about how adorable she was as well as soft and SUCH a good, good girl. I thought she was going to steal her from me    I did talk to her regular vet, Dr. B, and we're going to start testing all of her dishes, litter, etc. and see if we can come up with why her ALT is still elevated....if she is being exposed to something toxic. I made sure yesterday that Lupita is still only using vinegar, water, and baking soda to clean the house and jojoba oil and vinegar for the furniture. So...no kind of toxin in cleaning products that she is exposed to. Her water fountain is made in China ....it's ceramic/glass...not sure which. So I'm wondering if there is some lead. I hope we can figure it out.

I need to get another form of acidophilus for her since she's back on the A/B. I was giving her the Pearls but I'm running out of pill pockets and the capsules have soy lecithin so I'm going to get the Renew Life Ultimate that Sienne has suggested to others.

Hope you all have a great day!

That will be some investigating to figure out if she's sensitive to something in the house.
Got carpet, got walls, nearly everything has formaldehyde in it these days not to mention other stuff we don't want.
I'll offer my ACME hat for your investigation. :-D

And here's a link that I haven't had time yet to see if it's in cat foods. I was planning on posting it so everyone would be aware
since many of us have droolers. A preservative called TBHQ.

Hope Gracie keeps improving.
Scritches to her whiskers since her chin needs rest.
Happy Caturday!

I hope Gracie gets over her infection soon. That's great to hear she is still playful.

Re: 10/13 Gracie AMPS 251 +3 223

Gracie is such a rock star, persevering in play despite feeling punky! Sending healing snowflakes, and we have some!

Re: 10/13 Gracie AMPS 251 +3 223

Glad to hear Gracie is feeling better and playful is always a good sign. Hope you can get to the bottom of why her ALT is still elevated. Lots of gentle scritches for Gracie.

Re: 10/13 Gracie AMPS 251 +3 223

Hi Marje,

We are very glad that Gracie is feeling better today. The elevated ALT is a puzzle. How can you possibly know what is in all the stuff in your house?! Have you made any changes or had any work done in the house in the time between Gracie's last bloodwork and the present? That might be a place to start. Could Gracie's liver values have been affected by her coming into contact with your recent illness? Sounds improbable, but you never know.

Anyway, it sounds like you all are having a good weekend. Tobey was over here baking cimmamum cookies this afternoon. The kitties all stuffed themselves.

Hugs from us,

Ella & Rusty
