claudia YAY....is'nt it SWEET! (no pun intended)
you really don't need that many pokies right now...unless YOU WANT that many pokies.

claudia i only say this becuase charlie has resided in dangerously high #'s for quiet a while, but if you don't see a blue # today, tomorow raise again. by .2 there is pitifully low chance this cat is going to go into hypo territory and it is important he start seeing some numbers in the hundreds, for the sake of his organs.
FWIW

Pmps: 307 2.5U
I upped it just a smidge. I know that his high numbers aren't good yet, but I also want to see where this dose gets him once he settles into it, you know? He's acting so much better lately, drinking less, not trying to claw food away from us, playing more, and he gained back some of his weight. So I'm still very optimistic that we are close.

I'm not gonna be able to do a full 12 hour curve till Saturday or Sunday, but I'm sort of confused why is seems like his curve is more of an "N". Is that common?

i don't really see any serious N curve. if he's a bit higher a couple of hours before his pmps it could be food related. a snack? but mostly you have a U curve. i understand the idea of waiting to see this dose settle.
probably the wise thing to do....patience....but don't wait too long. i think you'll be blessed with no ketones at this point.

I don't see an N curve either.

Sorry Lori I respectfully disagree. I would like to see what this dose does for a few cycles. He got his first yellow today, I would like to see what he does with it. Great improvement, we're getting there.

Claudia, I free feed so my curves aren't perfect either. If I see him heading to the food bowls on curve days I test early to avoid the food spike.

His whole cat report (WCR) sounds good, he's playing, drinking less and gaining weight.

You're doing great.

robin you are probably right. i do tend to forge ahead quickly.
and you never have to be 'that' polite as i already know if you disagree it is respectfully. :-D
you and i have been thru alot with harley. i think i did the same with you...forge ahead!

Lori, we HAVE been through alot with Harley and I will be eternally greatful for your advise, support and love throughout our journey.

Onward and upward right.
