Good evening LL,

I feel like Angie needs another increase. She seems to respond to each dose in the first few days and then go higher again. This is our 7th cycle on 1.1 units. Does 1.25 sound right?

Thanks Marje for your help on the wobbly legs/potassium idea. I will ask the vet to get her blood work done again and send me a copy of her last lot.

Thanks again Michelle for your help with when to test. Does this sound like a good night-time plan?

Every cycle
+11
pmps
+2

Option A (if bg has been decreasing from +11)
+4
Then sleep

Option B (if bg has increased)
Sleep 1/2
+7
Sleep 1/2

Obviously if it's ever low, I will test more frequently and follow the low numbers guide.

Yesterday.

Thanks to all of you once again for your amazing help,
I-) Grace

Hi Grace ~O) ~O) ~O)

I posted a response in yesterday's condo, but yes, I hope it works for you. it did for us. Sleep is important too, as no kitty ever benefitted from a too tired bean. It's worth a try. You've got the main ones ther, and like you said, if numbers are low, then test more often..

Mannie also had the potassium issues: his was low, we did end up with that wobbly leg issue, his hind end legs. I found that the potassium supplement did bring his levels up to acceptable numbers. I'm not too sure what options you have there, but we had the gel and the tablet. I tried the gel: he hated it ,and what a mess! The tablets worked better for him, as I could mix it in some of his fav food, and he'd gobble it up. anywyas - if Angie has this type of problem, then yes, get the BW, and see what her levels are. Mannie at this time also started to develop endocrinology issues, which were a contributing factor, along with the potassium, to his wobbliness...

Have a great day today! Good luck too with the dosecrease should you decide to go ahead with it.
