Yesterday's High Numbers Condo

Zeus started yesterday at a respectable 136 and then just kept rising. This morning we are starting high, maybe we can come down to the low to mid blues today (hint, hint Zeus.... Are you paying attention?). Zeus is due for an increase, but I am a bit nervous about it since he had some great numbers in the PM cycle night night before last. Wish I could be independently wealthy so that I didn't have to work and I could stay home to monitor the increase.

Had all the usual Ps this morning, and has now gone back to bed  good day for it too, cold and rainy.

I sent all these high numbers to our vet a few days ago. He wants to do some tests to see if there might be something else going on in addition to the FD. He wants me to bring Zeus in with a full bladder.... How am I gonna do that? Said to put him in his carrier right after breakfast and shot. The appointment isn't until 3 hours later, I really don't want to leave him in his carrier for that long.... Talk about stress for the poor little guy - he hates being confined.

Hope everyone has a great Friday,
Kathie

I hear ya! I'd settle for someone to come in and do spot checking mid-cycle and who could deal with low numbers if needed, and someone who could come in on a moment's notice and deal with low PS numbers on the days I absolutely have to be in work early.

Good luck with Zeus in the carrier. Is he the kind of nervous can who will pee in the carrier on the way to the vet just from nerves? That will spoil everything.

Have a good day!

Hi guys .. sorry to read that zeus kept rising for you .. fingers crossed he comes back down today .. Good luck trying to get him to the vet with a full bladder .. my girls never quite seem to make it all the way there before a potty issue happens  have a great weekend guys!

Luckily Zeus has never pottied in his carrier, but he does become a nervous kitty when confined. Our first couple of trips, he rubbed his nose raw on the door of the carrier trying to get out. So I bought the soft sided kind. He is better now, but I still don't want to keep him confined for that long. Funny thing is, if I leave the carrier open, he will go in and lay down for a nap, just doesn't like it when I zip up the front so he can't get out.

Hope you have a great weekend!

Kathie
