All is calm on the Trixie front today (anti-jinx, of course!). Appy is happy, although not gluttonous (still no complaints from the bean, though), kitty is snuggly, fluids went off without a hitch last night (I have no idea what the deal was on Friday night!). We almost had one of those gelcap mornings....I had very poor placement with my first couple attempts, and that tends to set us up for the hissy/growly/cat fight noises scenario, but fortunately I got it down before we reached that level. Phew...crisis averted for the morning session.
Another long work day ahead, followed by fuds shopping. My weekends are anything but relaxing anymore. I'm off tomorrow, though....
Each time I called to check in at my folks the last several days, my Dad was snoozing, so I haven't actually spoken with him for a few days. On Friday, I made them a vegan calzone (since my Dad is now lactose intolerant), and apparently they loved it - with my homemade tofu "ricotta" and all. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks  !!?? He does have a new side effect this time...extra dry hands. My Mom is such a worrier that she is still not use to the crash and side effects...instead, she fears the worst when something new pops up. I don't blame her, but I would like to get her feeling more comfortable rather than living in constant fear. I don't know how successful I will be...this has always just been part of her personality.
Time to get ready for work....Have a great day, LL!
