Morning everyone! Happy Tuesday! Hoping she can bring herself down form this ugly number. :lol:
I am so sorry folks, but it IS all relative, isn't it?
She has had such nice greens lately...I am hoping for some more today. So, after the solid greens, this blue for her is ugly to ME.
(can you imagine how I felt with her pretty numbers with the FD and Shadow's really bad ones in the beginning?)
She had a nice LB deposit last night... and came out to watch some tv with me, indicating that all was okay with her. But,she knew it was the end of the day and our little war was put aside.

This morning, there were more dramatics. She was not front and center when I was getting breffis ready. No, I had to go look for her again. She flinched when I tested her, and again when I shot her.
Very dramatic. :roll:

Raja you are a drama queen, don't you know it's all to make you feel good? Silly thing.
I suppose it is all relative, I'd love for Tray to have this amps. But I hope you get the pretty greens again

Raja where are those green amps? such a bad amps :lol: it is all so relative isn't it... she'll be there soon, no doubt. and what a drama queen. how could you expect her to cooperate? :lol: :lol: I am still in awe when I think you have two of them to deal with. kudos to you!

Pat, I feel strange, even asking you this, like the student trying to help the teacher, but I wonder if you are using new and different needles, and they are unconfortable for her?
The reason I ask, is I just had to order new syringes, because Checkers has been complaining and flinching lately at shots and he NEVER complained before. I ran out of BD and am using older Monojects. Same gauge...31.
One time I actually heard it 'pop' into his skin. Made me sick to my stomach. I thought I did something wrong.
Just a thought.
Boy, that was some surf last night. You are amazing. Can I send Checks to you for a month? :lol:

I use the 29 gauge and Shadow doesn't seem to be bothered at all. I think that after being off all sorts of lancets and syringes, she is just not used to it anymore. When I would do a spot check in the months that she was OTJ, her little ear would not bleed very easily either. It "forgot" how to bleed as it had been used to doing while she was being tested many times a day in the beginning. She also tightens her skin when she knows I am going to shoot her too. I know, hard to believe, but when she does it, I SEE it and I realize that she is a very strong-willed little kitty. She is fighting this every inch of the way. She holds her legs a certain way and does something to the skin on her back, I swear to you!!

If/when we do a trial again, I think in my heart that she will believe that she has finally won!
Not that her numbers have improved and she is on trial...oh noII
She will be convinced that I finally came to my senses and started leaving her alone!! :lol:

Pat, sorry but I always get a chuckle out of Raja's condo! :lol: I'm sure it isn't nearly as amusing for you to have to deal with her dramatics! But she's doing sooo good, I'm sure it won't be too long before we see her on an OTJ trial. *ANTI-JINX*

Now Raja, you need to bring that high number down, ok? :mrgreen: :lol:

Your girl makes me laugh...or at least your tails of your little girl...I mean tales...lol.

Raja sounds a little like Curry when it comes to ear poking......Curry will move her head EACH time...I'm surprised I haven't torn the little ear yet.

Raja's numbers....what can I say....looking good. 123 was just a blip in the road today.

Hi Raja and Pat :) Wonderful #s last night! 80-88 what I want to aim for :smile: I know the skin tightening, but dealt with it by giving a back rub till I feel Callie relax :) She is good to go then! I don't know if Raja is like Callie, but maybe give it a try? Callie hides, but since I am in a small room with all my kitties there are few places to hide :) She is starting to realize this too. She put up with almost 2 weeks of solid intensive testing, but now I am going to test PMPS +4 and +8 only today and let her take a break again. Yesterday she was better (not digging into the carpet so much) at testing time. I think because she had a break the day before! Again Raja .... your numbers

Knowing Raja, she was probably willing her ears not to bleed. They didn't forget how, she just wouldn't LET them! :lol: She is quite the character, and I believe you are right about her thinking she finally won when she gets to her next (antijinx) trial.

Queen of the controlled surfs. Nothing wild and crazy...just nice feel-good numbers.

She came and stared me down....she likes to do the mind meld thing. She stares and thinks "Fooooood".
I always get the message. she is so precise with her timing too.
She rushed to the dining room when I got up....and then we did the dance around the dining room table. :roll:
I started signing "Sing for your supper and you'll get dinner..." and then she let me catch her.
I used to tell her to wait cause I needed an number from Shadow before they could eat. Now, I need one from her too!
She says "Curses to paying for your meal!" :lol:

Hey Raja, you were always so smug when it was Shadow getting poked and not you!!! Now, be nicer to your mamabean, who wants nothing better than to get you started (antijinx) on your OTJ trial (even though we all know her efforts will have nothing to do with it!).
