Yesterday, stress filled travel day to the island for Thanksgiving dinner.

Neko seems to have gotten over the yellow stress day with a nice ble surf. Much happier camper today being home. I've even seen her hanging around the nanners.

Sorry for the late post but it's been nuts here. After an exhausting yesterday and getting home at +2.5 last night, I came home to a civie limping and what looks like a dead Otto. Theo seems better today, but doesn't want to put much weight on his front paw. He didn't get dinner until we came home because of the malfunctioning Otto. :sad: Since it's the long weekend, vets are closed until Tuesday and I'll take him in then if he's not better. And now I need to buy a new auto feeder. To top it off, my laptop disk drive seems to be failing. We got a backup but can't get a replacement drive until Tuesday. :YMSIGH: Thank goodness for iPads.

I hope everyone else is having a better Sunday.

What a beautiful blue cycle for Neko- and what a good girl and traveling companion. I am glad she wasn't too stressed with the trip- I am praying for Theo and Otto, especially scary for Theo when it's a holiday weekend. Wonder what happened to him and I don't guess he's talking! Please let us know how he's doing-Happy Thanksgiving Wendy!

Happy (belated) Thanksgiving!!! How nice that Neko got to come with you! I hope Theo is okay - sending vines his way. Do you think he could have killed Otto and hurt himself that way? I hope he heals up soon!

Vines are being sent from me to Theo. I hope he just landed wrong and will be back to normal well before Tuesday. I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving.

And the flat goes on.

Neko and I are still getting used to life without Otto. We both miss him. :lol: Turns out I might be able to get the Petsafe feeder (try something different) in town. Of course, it's only $30-$40 more than in the US. :roll: But I do want something sooner than ordering over the Internet. Theo seems a little better later today, putting a bit more weight on that foot. I'll try to take a video tomorrow. Last time he hurt himself he hunkered down and wouldn't perform for the vet.

@Ruth, Deanna, Elise - Thanks for the Theo vines. My worse fear is that he got his foot caught in Otto while it was rotating. But who knows. He's hurt himself before playing so hard he slammed into something in the kitchen. I didn't see it that time, just heard it. Today is the start of Thanksgiving leftovers. Neko did a lot of whining while I was prepping dinner. :lol:

My thought was the same as Deanna's - seems awfully suspicious that both Theo and Otto were injured at the same time! I take it there is no way to fix Otto? How sad. He gave his all for your kitties.

I'm glad Neko made such a nice recovery after all that trauma. Lots of kitties seem to be surfing blue today. I didn't see the memo, but apparently they did! :lol:

I, too, have kitties underfoot constantly when turkey is cooking, including leftovers. I think the smell is irresistible, too.
