Yesterday was..... YELLOW day in MannieLand. After 5 whirlwind cycles Mannie's internal parts decided to take the day off. :shock: ;-) When I look at how low he went, and how many carbs it took to keep him safe I am grateful that he road this for 5 cycles, and especially that he didn't bounce to the stratosphere. :-D That alone is awesome progress. YAY! I will not complain about yesterday - for those reasons, and also because I got to get some sleep! :cool: :cool: :cool: :cool: Those past cycles and the days with DGS have been more than busy, a tad bit insane :lol: so I will accept with gratitude Mannie's resting day.I hope he can get back to business soon, like today! Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D :-D BRRRRRRRRRRRRR, it's cold here! well, it feels cold, with a nice 43 in the mornings. I had to turn the heat on. :shock: :shock: :shock: So much for my resolution not to do so until November... Mannie was elated though! There was warm coming out of that vent. He spent a few with his face planted straight into the vent. :lol: :lol: Silly boy.... We didn't get a ray of fun until late in the day- maybe 4:30. Funny - neither one of the kitties expressed an interest in going outside. I guess it is officially fall now... the kitties have decided they are in for the duration. :lol: :lol: Mannie still has not moved the nanners that DGS out in his bed. I found him asleep yesterday late with his paws wrapped around them ahhhhh.... too cute, and DGS would be so happy. :-D :-D This morning we had a great test, feed and shoot and clean plate club , purrs and a few cuddles. :cool: Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D

Have a great day everyone. I am on my last day of DGS duty this week. BUMMER! I will try and get to condos once DGS has gone home for the day. I am sorry I miss so many of you, like I did yesterday. Today we will go swimming in the morning. I am not too sure on the afternoon - will have to wait and see what the weather has in store for us... Paws crossed that Mannie gives us a permission slip... I will miss you guys, and your furkids! Be good kitties! think blue, think green! :cool:

Hey everybody! What's up? I LUBBED the cheese factory yesterday - WOO HOO! And nobody fell in the cheese vats, or went surfing, of lost any cat hairs.... good thing, uh! What'd'ya guys wanna do today? You guys wanna ride the ferry? we gots lots of them here, and they go to really cool places. One has a beach! We could have a clam bake or sumtin'. You guys in? let me know - I am ready for anything anybody wants to do! ~ Mannie

Well even Mannie deserves a resting day. At least you and Nicholas got to go without guilt and enjoy your day. We have already turned on the heat here last weekend when it was only 48. Silly Mannie! They do love warm air coming out of the vents and cool air in the summer. All three of our kids have their "own" vents that they park on. When they hear it turn on, they go running to their respective areas. :lol:

Morning Melissa ~O) ~O) ~O) That he does!, and rest he did. It sure did help with that guilt factor: do we go, do w stay thing. I'm glad someone else is turning n their heat. YAY! So funny on how they love their heat vents, isn't it. Too funny on your brood. Happy Friday back at ya :-D :-D

Hi guys .. well it was a nice start to the day but it looks like mannie decided to head on up! Guess you should take today and enjoy it, mannie is giving you permission .. We've had our heat on for a while now, not consistently but enough to know fall is officially here! Have a great weekend guys!

It looks like Neko followed Mannie on the WRONG WAY road this morning, but he found the turnoff and got back to the right direction. I hope Neko follows. I love the thread on the air vents. We have an air vent in DH's office that is in the ceiling and blows down. Neko loves going up on the book shelf just below it. They do love their heat! As do we. I turned my furnace on a couple of weeks ago, then turned it off again, but now it's back on for the duration I think.

It's only misting outside here. I hope you manage to get a good outing in with DGS. It might be time to switch the ice cream for hot chocolate.

not too bad Mannie - I am so glad we have left the pink floor. :-D

DGS and I had a great, and very busy day: swimming in the Morning, lunch with his mom after that, and a visit to Coal Creek after that. I bet he sleeps well tonight! :lol: :lol: Swimming was cool: THE FISH still loves the water, loves to jump ion the pool. Coal Creek is one we have been too many times, and chose it today since it was 5 minutes from his mom's work and the Red Robin we ate at. He really enjoyed the creek - did all the things he loves to do! I will post some photos in Mannie's condo tomorrow.

THANK YOU EVERYONE (!!!!) who visited Mannie today. Please forgive me tonight for not answering each of you individually.... I can barely keep my eyes open, still need dinner, and some serious down time! GO NICHOLAS! You certainly are keepoing your grannie busy! :shock: :lol: Mannie had a decent day: managed to turn around a pink post, found the blues, had a low end yellow pmps, down a bit on his +2. looks like he may make the blues tonight too. COOL! I thank all of you for your well wishes too! I hope to hike this weekend: weather is very iffy though: rains and winds just about everywhere. :?
Rhiannon - had to answer this: someone once told me I needed to make a bed comforter out of nanners - then maybe Mannie would sleep there at night. :lol: :lol: :lol: I so need to do that....
