Hi,

Long night last night. Between yesterday and early this morning, 10 hours of surfing in the greens. Might have gone hypo, if I had not tested when I did. My question is, I shot full dose at 71, which is the lowest yet. I'm wondering, if I should have done that based on how low he got at +3. Can you give token doses on TR?

I know it was a long night but a nice healing cycle. With TR it’s best to shoot the full dose if possible but you can choose to shoot less. There’s no guarantee it would not have been the same as the depot was in play. You could have gone to high carb to bring him up quicker though. He’s bouncing today from numbers he’s not used to s you will both likely get a break. I would get a +2 to be sure.

So, next time, go straight to the gravy. I gave him high carb dry. Thank you! Have a good day!

What you give when the cat drops depends on how carb sensitive he/she is. I have seen Neko surf several hours in a row at low 50's, on nothing more than freeze dried meat treats. Of course if you need sleep, it's OK to carb Lucky up. But during the day, you might want to dry something lower carb (and wet or raw) and see how he does on it.

Thank you, for your input
