We had a lovely blue day yesterday, despite a couple yellows, but I'm very proud of Little Leo for this performance. No diving, no big bouncing - rather a good boy! Of course, his AMPS leaves something to be desired, but I have to go in to work earlier today, so I'm not terribly upset.

I was reading in bed last night when Leo jumped up, and he just crashed next to me (against me really) and took a bath. It seems more and more at the apartment he's claiming me as his bean. :YMHUG:

I love how Leo is now trained that food comes after testing. Or maybe it's just that he's trained me to give him more treats than a cat would normally get, by being really good about it. People don't train cats. Cats train people.

Hi guys .. great run of numbers yesterday! And that is so sweet of leo to start out a little high so you don't have worries at work .. cause we all know that's why they go high, it's for us .. right? :-D have a great weekend guys!

Oh what a great day yesterday for Leo! Not a bad number today, especially since you won't be around. Sounds like you and Leo are really connecting. Tarragon was my son's cat and has quickly became mine. It's strange how the ritual twice a day, every day brings you closer to eachother. Have a wonderful day Lisa!

I know what you mean about cats training people. Although, I thought J.D. was pretty trainable :roll:
When he gets treats and wants more, he wraps his big paw around my hand, and I can't resist, I have to give him more. It started out as I thought I was teaching him to shake hands. He would be facing me, and he would put his paw up for a brief second, and I would gently grab it in my fingers and do the shaking hands motion and give him a treat. Now, he wraps his cute big paw around my hand or fingers, and pulls it to him, and it's so cute, I have to give him more. :lol: Good thing, they only get 100% meat treats. Now, Ginger is another story :roll:

I'm glad Leo finally gets to sleep in his master's bed and snuggle with his bean.. :thumbup like it otta be.

Hi Dyana - that is such an adorable story! I think I need to teach Leo to shake hands too - he"ll already push his paws into my hand :-D I'm such a sucker too. I boil chicken every weekend or so, and freeze each breast separately and then pull out one baggie at a time, and the chunk of chicken will last for several days of treats. This darned cat gets wonderful treats! I made the chicken last weekend, and then felt bad that I took a breast to make some soup. And then I thought, what the heck is this?!? It's MY chicken and this cat is SPOILED!!!

I was a little nervous leaving this morning with his fall to mid blues, so I have him an extra 1/4can of 7% in the feeder at +4.5 I wonder if he dipped green. Hopefully he surfed the blues and just came up at the end - I love this blue surfs. Let's see what tonight brings. I just picked up a new 4-pack of Illy mochaccino cans - addicting. "Italian espresso style coffee drink with Domori cocoa and lowfat milk." MMmmmmmmm.

Yummmmmmm... Chicken soup and Italian coffee. I hope Leo does not find the coffee as he has plenty of spring already. Hope you had good travels this time.

So sweet that Leo gets right up against you as soon as he can.
I think I remember you saying he didn't get to do that at home and If I remember right, this might help him feel less stressed in his weekday
home where he gets All of your attention.

Shannan - yup good stuff cooking! NO caffeine for Leo. I would not survive :shock: We didn't travel this time - I ended up having to stay here this weekend because of work. But thanks for remembering and asking! Leo is *very* happy I got stuck here - 8 fewer hours freaked out in the car.

Sienne - good memory too! At home, Molly gets to be in bed with us. She's the old lady of the house and she doesn't care for Leo. Leo stalks her (bad boy!) so Leo gets shut in a room about half the day. I'm sure his stress levels are different in both places for different reasons. He probably likes the apartment because he gets the run of the place including the bed :smile: But he likes home a lot because he gets to look out the back to see the critters and birds. So now he's living a double life too!

Yea.......surf blues my boy - almost there!

Hi Lisa & Leo,

It is really great that Leo is adjusting to his "bifocal" life so well. I'm sure that a weekend without the trip will be a pleasure for him. Enjoy the weekend.

It looks like Leo is enjoying the start to the weekend and having his mama bean at home! Nice start to tonight's cycle.

Cute story on Leo getting to sleep with you. We have Neko our older girl cat and Theo the younger civie boy here too - although he's older at 8. Same issues with the bed. He stalks her, she rather he not be around. She is finally letting him get closer and we have had two cats on the bed, one at my feet and one by the pillow. She hisses when he hops on the bed, but it works. Over time you might have the same, but I'm sure Molly is glad to have a break from having the young pest around!
 
It's a very colorful day for Leo! Time for a PJ party?

Glad to see Leo made it to blue today. Maybe because he's happy cuddling next to his mommy!

Too bad you have to stay in the apt over the weekend but at least you have Leo !
