1.2 worked the other day, but I thought maybe a bit too well so pulled back to 1u... guess NOT! so back to 1.2... he is running high these past few days, weird, but whatevs

Made the Leuk plunge (THANKS Gator for the pricing info, that really gave me hope!) and got a script called in. (Specialists charge DOUBLE the Costco price.... yowza!!!!!!! shocking!). He is doing ok but not great, so we'll see how it goes.

Glad you started the chlorambucil. All the barfing pooping just does not seem right to me [and I'm sure nor you].

Make sure to keep it refrigerated and use disposable gloves to handle it. Do not break up the pill.

Except for their optical dept. I'm a total unabashed Costco fan. :smile: Their pharmacy is the best place to get meds. If you cannot get the AAA discount they have their own discount plan [that you must ask for] for the uninsured that covers pets too. But the AAA plan is a little bit better.

I hated it when H ran high for no apparent reason. Such a guessing game. Gah.

LOL I actually went with Walmart (gasp!) since they are more convenient to me than Costco, and at just over $4 a pill I figured not too much more than Costco, should work out to just a bit over $1/day. I'm starting with a small quantity, so if it goes well I'll call Costco & see if it's worth switching over for longer term. I'm kind-o scared to go into Costco LOL since I tried once and they said without a card I can't even browse. I'm hoping there's a safety corridor to the Pharmacy, LOL. But 1st we'll see if it works for him - my last kitty on it, it made her more nauseaus than before, but I guess that's not super-common, so hopefully it will do Bix well. I ditched my AAA this year cutting costs to the minimum, but that's cool they have another discount too. The best is the Walmart $4 list if they still have that - got Lactulose & Metaclopramide I think that way, though I hated both meds for the kitties, but at least didn't have to hate the price too....

Don't let the thugs at the Costco door scare you! Just say "I'm going to the pharmacy -- so frack off!" lol. It's all part of the thing to get you to sign up which you don't need to do if you use the pharm only. Yea there are a few very annoying things about Costco. Did I mention how hard their optical dept sucks?? lol Even though they want you to think you are second class for not being a Costco member you are not! But I must say that Costco 'service' is second to none [other than their optical dept.].
