10/11 Smudge: AMPS 101, +2 75, +4 81, PMPS 103, +3 68

I have 100% confidence in him holding this reducie!!

Of course, for the first four cycles or so he is still on that 3U depot so he could dip low again. By the way -- if he does go under 50 again within these first 4-6 cycles on 2.75U, under TR it doesn't count for a reduction as far as I know. Oddly, reading and re-reading all the literature on TR I cannot find anything about back-to-back reductions, I must be missing it.

If he were to dip under 40 though, he gets another .25U reduction, apparently, from what I am reading. I also don't see anything in the TR docs about that but lots of posts.



Doing a forum search, I found many posts where gurus like Elise and Bhooma mention "we avoid back to back reductions under TR" or "we generally don't do back to back reductions with TR"

Thank you for pulling that up, I remember when this happened to @Mikanmama. I wouldn't have found it so effortlessly. :cat:

Will definitely be watching for dips with his 3U depot still in play. So far so good with 75 @ +2 . Slow and steady. :D

believe me, it was NOT effortless. I swear, one of the most challenging things about using the FDMB is actually finding that tiny little nugget of information or guidance you may be looking for at a particular moment in time.

I scoured Tilly's page, scoured all the stickies about TR, and still could not find anything supporting the notion that if a kitty dips under 50 on a human meter in consecutive cycles, or even within a couple cycles of a previous reduction, that a reduction is NOT earned. But I definitely recalled being taught this when Hendrick was reducing.

So then I did a forum search on "back-to-back" which took like 10 minutes and I thought it broke the search engine. Came up empty so I did another search on "back to back" and that one found the post I linked.
