10/10 Shasta

WCR: All Ps in place. Lots of snuggles last night and this morning. Appy seemed ok, but has dropped off. I think she knows that I have to leave soon and she's very upset by this. She's very mopey/grumpy right now. I will spend the day at a local high school with a few of my students while they sing with guys from around the county for Men's Chorus Day. Should be fun, but I wish I could stick her in my purse and take her with me! :shock: :lol: Have a good Caturday, everyone.

I'm wondering if Shasta is needing a bit more insulin. You've had 2 days at the 0.5f dose and while there are blue nadirs, they are mid-range. I'd like to see Shasta spending more time below renal threshold.

Aww, I hate it when they're trying to tell us that they don't want us to leave. It makes it so hard to walk out the door. Hopefully you'll have a great time today, the time will fly by, and Shasta will greet you with a whole bunch of purrs and cuddles when you walk in the door.

Hope you and your students had a good time today. And that Shasta "forgives" you for leaving.

I traveled most weekends with high school kids (debate coach for 20 years), leaving Friday morning by 6:30, returning often near or after midnight on Saturday. Thank goodness my guys could fend for themselves and didn't seem to hold it against me. My current crew cares only that I'm here during feeding times!
