Yesterday was a red bookend day with some yellow and blue in the middle.

Today I decided to fatten the dose because Neko hadn't seen any green for a while. As a result, Neko threw me a 44, but after that +7.5 (which was 1/2 hour after 2tsp HC, food and gravy together so probably less than 1 tsp gravy). I'm wondering if there was a strip error. It seems like a really sudden drop from +6 to +7, she doesn't usually drop that much that late. Tonight I'll go back to the old dose and just try keeping the patience pants on a little longer.

I'll test again shortly, Neko is acting starved in the kitchen and it's an hour before her +9.5 snack.

Late start to the condo today. I am busy doing things in the garden to get it ready for the start of the rainy season.

I hate it when they get an odd number and you can't tell what caused it. Maybe the extra juice for one dose will help kickstart her to better numbers.

Hmmmm. That does look odd. Patience pants intact. Yay for you getting the garden ready. Ours burned up this year but we really need to get out there and till it over before the leaves fall. Have a great night Wendy!

If it does seem like an out of context number, try to remember to re-test. You can get wonky high numbers, as well.

It looks like Neko spent at least half the cycle in blues and some of them lower blues than she's seen lately. I'm still mystified by that 44. I would have retested, but she was acting STARVED like she does when she is either really high or low, so that 44 seemed possible. And it was still a couple of hours before her +9.5 snack so she shouldn't have been whining for it yet. Either that or I have a cat who is perpetually hungry. :roll:

@Carla - it was definitely a mystery. I like that idea of a kick start, that would be nice.

@Melissa - patience pants back on. Every time I've taken them off and increased, she has told me why I shouldn't. I got some herbs transplanted to pots in the solarium, garlic mostly planted, lawn mowed again - not sure if I'll have a chance to do that again so a productive day. Still have to turn over part of the garden here too. The leaves are starting to fall here.

@Sienne - That 44 was possible, especially given Neko's behaviour. I didn't think it was wrong until the following test. Lesson learned. Question everything that seems unusual.

@Rhiannon - I keep telling Neko she needs to be flat and green like the other pretty long haired black and white kitty.

If that's a 44, not bad for the mini bounce of 243. I always try to think positive, life is easier :lol: :lol:

Looks like Neko and Rupert are up to their old party tricks now that he's back! sorry he's such a bad influence!!!

@Pip - I wish Rupert would send some of his green party tricks over here too!

@Helen - Neko saves her bounces for later. At least it's not as bad as last night.

@Michelle - Neko is fine. She chased a cherry tomato off the counter and around the kitchen floor this afternoon! She is feeling good and bouncy.
