Good morning everyone. I’m just getting caught up on all the news from yesterday. Thoughts and prayers for @Butters & Lyla.

Milo is turning his nose up at food again today but that’s not shocking with the pancreatitis diagnosis. I’m surprised my vet didn’t send me home with some pain and anti-nausea meds. I’m definitely asking for them on Tuesday. He’s a lovely man and o have no doubt he’ll give me whatever I think is necessary to manage him from home. He was worried the last two visits because he was sitting with his head hanging all day, kind of hunched over and not eating. Wouldn’t that possibly indicate pain? I asked for the appetite stimulant but didn’t know to ask for the other meds. Oh, the things we learn here!
Thanks to everyone for your advice. Have a great day!

Thanks everyone. He’s eating very small amounts but still up and moving around. Not quite himself but masking not feeling well pretty good. Acting hungry but little intake. BG still ok. I’m giving MC if that means he’ll eat something. Poor guy.

I thought things were moving in the right direction as he was eating a bit more at +10 and +12 so I shot. He was on my lap snuggling for the next two hours and giving no sign he was going hypo. I checked at +2.25 and he was only 41! I got some honey and HC into him by putting it in his mouth. +2.75 at 61 and +3.75 at 70. He’s just eaten a good tablespoon of MC after turning his nose up at everything else. I think I can get a little bit of sleep, set my alarm for a couple of hours and check him again. I’m glad he decided to eat well finally. I was shocked he had dropped so much so soon after his shot.
It’s going to be a long night, I think.
