Yesterday's Condo

Another warm day here. I think the kitties aren't particularly impressed with the warm weather. If any has any clever ways to extract a kitty from a cube, please let me know! Gabby may have taken up permanent residence.

Maybe just take the whole cube to the testing spot? She's smart , she'll get the idea!

ooo - I like Ann's idea. With Mannie it's the nanners. When I doubt - find the nanners and you will find the cat. :lol:

Looks like Gabby wants to get done to business this morning too. Go Gabby - but not too low OK?

Gabby is coming down nicely. I always use the sound of the treat bag shaking to extract my kitties from their hiding spots. They come flying out!

I wished those things worked! Gabby knows she'll get treats no matter what. Dragging the cube would probably mean Gizmo doing all sorts of things! Gabby will retreat to spots where she's Gizmo-proof. She came out of the cube and followed me into the closet and Gizmo tackled her. Of course, she's also finding out that when I want her to come out of the cube, if she just rolls over, she gets belly scritches, ear scritches, well - you all get the idea.

She certainly deserves her scritches since she is coming down so nicely. HAPPY COLUMBUS DAY!!! Hope you get a chance to enjoy the lovely weather there.

I agree with Marjorie - more scritches for Gabby! :lol: I'm no help on getting them out of the cube - I had to move Muffin's out of the testing room, as she would retreat in there at test time, and she's not interested in it in the other room. The only time she goes the other direction now is when she sees the pill shooter in my hand, and lucky for me she doesn't run even then, just tries to slink off in the other direction. Gabby's coming down nicely today.

Checkers tried that, so I thought if I rolled it over and over, he'd surely come out; Yeah right, he thought it was great fun. :lol:
Does Gabby fight back, when Gizmo lauches his attack? The sounds mine make, when wrestling, are horrifying.

Nice numbers for Gabby today. I have no clue how to get a kitty out of the cube. I bought one, but none of my cats get in it. ;-)

Can you give me some hints on managing Blackie's numbers when I'm at tbp? I know you deal with this too. How do you feel confident that Gabby won't go too low? Do you feed MC or HC if her +2 looks like she's going down? Whenever Blackie hits green and I can't be home, I get nervous. Thanks in advance for your help.

Gabby is coming down nicely. Napoleon likes to do a hide in the cube on me now an then. Luckily it is flexible so I can push down the top of it to test him. Hope you are enjoying your day.

Thanks for the "words of wisdom", Sienne. That's kind of what I thought after looking at Gabby's SS. And I've been kind of doing that too - coming home when I think I need to and feeding MC & HC. I guess I just need more practice. :-D And more history of the +2's.

Sorry we are late getting to your condo today gabby, but boy oh boy does it ever look good today .. with numbers like this you should get to stay in the cubes as long as you want!!!

the only time i took homie to the vet in a cat carrier...he refused to come out. and before i could step forward, this WACKO vet tech turned the carrier opening toward the floor and started to shake it... :shock: the fact that she lost her job that day did not induce us to ever visit that clinic again...
i imagine if it had been a cube like gabby's this chick might have tried to slap him out of it...

i love your condo...
