I havent been posting about Phoebe for a while.
She is doing well.
I have her down to 1.5units insulin.
I stopped testing so often as she is not liking the many sticks i was doing.
i test about monthly -randomly to see where she is
if she stays in the normals i decrease.
i know this is not tr or even go slow.
she is old and i want her to not be poked at.
this is working.
has anyone given the lantus only once a day?

Glad to hear that Pheobe is doing well.

Unlike with humans, insulin once a day does not give enough duration in cats because of their faster metabolism. That's why twice a day.
