Happy Fursday and tons of healing vines for Shiwa, KT, Tigger, Jupe (eat boy eat!), and any others who need them today.
WILD BABY GIRL ALERT!!! Gracie and Tobey have been little speed demons all over the house all morning. And she always runs with her tail bent and crooked to the side....very, very adorable and hilarious. We also had a little bit of a whackathon. They've been playing alot lately and are always entertaining. I woke up in the middle of the night last night to find her snuggled in the sherpa and wedged between Mike and me. When i pet her, she started purring and then climbed up next to me and snuggled in right up under my chin. Sweet baby girl. We've got just a smidge of a bounce going on today but we expected it after that dip to the 30s. LBG also got a dose reduction...once again, paws crossed she will continue down the dosing scale.
Gus is better today
He's eating and very perky and responsive....not quite to the former level but still a definite improvement although he vomited quite a bit this morning
But he has eaten since then so....hope he keeps it down. I spoke with the AC. She said he indicated it is not quite time yet for him to cross but he does feel he is starting down the road of transition. He said he has no needs that we are not addressing because he feels we are very, very in tune with him and we take care of all his needs especially loving him completely. She also spoke with Gracie and Tobey and Gracie said she feels that he will not be here long. The AC said when the body starts to transition, there is a change in odor that we humans cannot detect. But Gracie does and I have noticed her sniffing on him lately. The AC said Gracie feels it will be an emotionally difficult time for her when he crosses because she loves him so much. Tobey said he will also be very sad because he loves Gus, but as long as he has Gracie, he will be fine. The last thing the AC said is that both Gracie and Tobey are showing her that they are in great health and feel wonderful. She said typically a diabetic cat will show some evidence in the pancreas but that Gracie shows none at all.....everything appears to be perfect.
So with this little bounce, we are going to go see "Gravity". I can't wait!!! Hope your day is splendid and we'll check back in later. Thank you all so much for your continued prayers and support for Gussie.
