Forgot to post this morning! Thankfully Chloe seems to be okay today. If there is an ulcer, I can totally see how the pain from that could be causing her BG to rise. .5U seems to be good for now.

Syringe medication just doesn’t work for us. So even though her ulcer meds are supposed to go in on an empty stomach, a little MC gravy makes it so much easier on both of us.

Once she recovers she will head back down the dosing ladder. :bighug:

Even Bandit who is a saint, has begun to protest at being pilled so many times a day. I've just started using pill pockets for some of them.

Have you tried using all meat baby food? Herbert was always a hit here although one didn’t like chicken all loved ham.

I have a heck of a time syringing Prednisolone into Susie's mouth. She makes this growling noise and gives me a look of disgust before she quickly walks away. Glad to hear Chloe seems to be okay today.

I honestly cannot find it around here. I’ve checked multiple grocery stores, and I have not been able to find any meat-only brands and flavors. Even in the organic sections.

Yeah Chloe definitely gets pill pockets for the ones she won’t just eat on her own. Not a fight I’m willing to have.
It’s only about a teaspoon of gravy, so I’m not worried about it knocking her too out of whack.
