Yaay, we're off the pink floor finally. I think I should have shaved, instead of going from 0.5 down to .25 u. lev
It just freaked me out, when he dropped to 25 on 9/26.
I had a terrible time bringing him back up, so overcompensated and decreased too much.

He was not hungry for breffis, but did me a big favor by eating, after I opened a new can of FF fish & shrimp. :evil:
I shut off his sink faucet after a minute, and left the room, so no barfing today.

Everybody is napping...woohoo, time to myself. :-D

Just got that +4~51.....how in the world can it drop that hard and fast!!!

Hi guys .. seeing those low 20's will make any of us panic! You can always go back up if needed .. Glad there was no barfing today, but checkers, don't be so picky about your fuds! Have a great day guys!

Hmmm, Science Diet Savory Seafood Entree, with wheat flour, cornstarch,whole grain corn..didn't even budge him in half an hour. I gave a spoonful of sour cream with bit of honey, at the second 51. Just don't want him to dive.
Hope he surfs, and doesn't soar now.

It tasted pretty good too. Think I'll try it on graham crackers for my snack. :-D

Wow what a morning for you already Barb, Checkers sure knows how to dive. I can't believe he was in the 20's the other day, my heart would have stopped.

Oops, I derailed this surf. Phooey.

Next time, I'll remember it takes Checkers longer than half hour ,to come up, after carbing him.

Glad Checkers turned up instead of down from that 51, hope he does not soar higher. I am still laughing about you eating your cats food :lol: , I have finished off the yogurt after giving Jasper his treat. We dont directly share, he gets one baby spoonful then I get the rest on a clean spoon. Enjoy your day!

I hope Checkers doesn't bounce too high for you. Did you try the sour cream with honey on crackers?

Sour cream and honey - that sounds good, actually! Is that a treat or something you use to get the carbs in Checkers? Just curious. What nice numbers though. Although Checkers, that's quite high enough - be good and just hang now, k?

Leslie - my other kitty does the same thing. She *loves* ice cream so I give her a little taste off the spoon and then clean it and finish it. She can hear the freezer door open! I tried giving Leo some ice cream once (before his DX) and he wasn't interested at all.

Funny what kinds of treats cats like.

I notice that you didn't taste the Savory Seafood. And it has such nice ingredients, too!! I guess Checkers has decided to bounce a little this evening, but at least you'll be able to get some sleep.

Ummm, turnaround is fair play. Checkers steals my food, I eat his :lol:

He's nuts about dairy, so when I wanted to carb him a little, I looked for something that would be good with honey, and spied the sour cream. No carbs to speak of in it, so I give a little, now and then.
I did indeed put some in graham crackers. yum!

It was a nice green and blue day, most of the day. :-D

ETA: How do you know I didn't, Ella? I don't tell everything on here. :-D
