Looks like his nadir is around +4 and then he starts heading up. Bouncing contributes to the upward momentum as well. In bounce clearing cycles like 10/4 and 10/6, the nadirs can be later - even as late as the end of the cycle.

Thanks for the insight, Bhooma. Makes sense about the end of cycle going down - I have noticed that. I will pay attention to it happening on a bounce clearing cycle.

Also, I was really surprised his nadir is at +4. I don’t take a lot of +4’s so I think I wasn’t noticing it and also I was focusing a lot on his active cycle nadirs. I often do a +3 and then go for another one two hours later, so I’m missing it. I’ll try to get some more 4s and 5s to get more data. Is +4 pretty early for a nadir?

It's a little difficult to figure out nadirs with unregulated cats because of all the bouncing and bounce clearing. I'm assuming that yesterday's cycle was a more "typical" Lantus cycle and his nadir was at +4. With Lantus the nadir is generally around +4 though some cats can have nadirs earlier as well as later.
