what are you feeding , Mike?

shadow was creeping up a bit and I pushed a little lower carb food on her (3%) and she dropped back down a tad.
I finally bought the fortiflora which does inspire her to eat those less desireable lower carb nom noms.

Hmm, I'm strictly feeding him Fancy Feast Classics. That's all I can really afford. My cat budget is crippling right now. I hate to admit it but I've even looked for charities online and free insulin.

I have to note that he's been getting fed a little more often than a month ago. Maybe we're overfeeding him?

There is always the chance he got into our other cat's food. She's not easy like Bj, she's finicky and won't eat the Fancy Feast. Well she will eat SOME of it. The truth of the matter is she WILL eat it when she's hungry enough. She's kind of a pissy and stubborn feline and my girlfriend gives in to her. She's terrified she will starve or something which doesn't make any sense.

There`s no shame in loving Bj, and doing whatever you need to in order take the excellent care of him that you do Mike, imho, and I hope you found support. This is a costly venture! Pretty funny about the AMPS tease shot :lol:

I understand about the costs.
I found ff classic chicken in cases of 12 at walmart for $6.42 (54 cents) I don't know if they make cases of turkey.
Next time I see a sale less than that, I'm grabbing a cart full.

Hope you can convert your gf into feeding the same food. I'll never feed any future cat anything else now that I know how bad
some of it is out there. According to the new chart, I was feeding Shadow 20% canned food and I'm guessing the kitty treats were
almost 40% carbs. No wonder we are here.

I hear ya, Rhiannon. If I had my way she would only eat the same food as Bj. I'm between a rock and a hard place.

Hi, Alexa! It's definately not cheap is it. Oh well, we have to make sacrifices in life sometimes, right? Lol I have no life anymore so not much left to lose I guess :lol:
