I guess my timing of R or amount of R was wrong last night. He got 2 drops (at the zero line).
Now, reading my unread condo responses from last night, I did not remember how well he ate last night as he is picking at his food this morning. I feel so limited in food choices, since I am trying to keep him off of beef. Beef has always been his favorite. I started the morning by trying to give him some baby food chicken and broth. He's only ever liked the beef and broth so he licked a couple licks and that was it, even heated. Him and Ginger started totally refusing Turkey & Giblets long ago. Chicken Feast is on again off again on whether they'll eat it. Our choices seem to be Chunky Chicken which they'll eat most of the time, Chunky Turkey which J.D. will eat usually but didn't today, and the Roasted Chicken and Roasted Turkey which are 11% and 12% carbs and they'll only eat those most of the time.
Today, I added Grandma Lucy's freeze dried chicken to the top of J.D.'s Chunky Turkey and I think I got him to eat 1/4 can total. I broke out the can of Great Choice Sardines, Shrimp & Crab that I bought 2 days ago and was a major hit with the cats last week. He at first acted like he really wanted it and then ate only 1/8 can. Ginger happily ate all of hers.
He is holding his tail in again. We never did figure out what all that is about.
At +10 last night, I woke up to J.D. laying across my face with his butt on my chest and his belly fur on my face and his head over my head. We had enjoyed some snuggle time until I fell back to sleep. Then I woke up to his body lengthwise across by face with the side of this belly across my face. Again I think he was purring, but I was kind of in sleep mode, but he got some more snuggles. I think he was liking/loving me and not trying to smother me :?
He got all the way into the new litter box this morning and peed inside it!
Just now, he got all the way all the way (his whole body inside, and not just walked inside with his tail still sticking out) and pooed inside the litter box. He got lots of praise for those.
