I usually give her snacks before +3, but I wanted to see what would happen if I didn’t. I’ll be going out of town again a week from Monday, leaving Chispa in the care of DBF, which means she will get two meals from the feeder during the day while he is at work. She did fine in August, but her numbers are that much lower now. I expect we’ll have to reduce the dose again while I am away, or maybe a few days before to give the depot time to drain? It would be nice not to have to worry about the rollercoaster …
 
Yes, a slightly lower vacation dose of 3.5U would be good. Easier for DBF to measure as well. Will he be able to test? And he is gone the whole day between shots? Does she eat from the feeder?

Monday being day after tomorrow? Or the Monday after?

The Monday after, through the following Saturday (10/17-22). He could get a +1.5 before leaving in the morning, but then he’ll be gone all day. Luckily she has no problem eating from the feeder, which can be set to deliver 2 meals during the day.
