Doing better today, poop is more solid. He has been real clingy today. If he isn't with one of us he starts meowing for attention. Him and Shefoo spent part of the day lounging in bed.

When I picked him up yesterday the vet came out to the car. He said he did run a fructosamine while he was there. Said it was perfect, the best fructosamine he has ever seen. Can't remember the number for sure 140 something I think but don't quote me on that.
Hope everyone had a good day and all kitties surf safe. Stay safe.

Thank you Sue. How are you liking the Tresiba so far? Looks like yellow starts are Luci's thing.

Hoping Teal'c comes back down to where he was before vacation. Not sure but got my pen back with a very large bubble of air in it. Guessing I should have showed them how I draw up his dose. Been wondering if i should start another pen.

Oh geez...

Take a syringe and turn the pen up on it's end - air bubble up - and see if you can draw the air out.

It looks like they injected air when they withdrew the insulin. You're supposed to do that when you draw from a vial...but not from the pen...because it's got the little plunger on one end that forces the insulin down to the end of the pen..

I hope this makes sense...

Love the picture. I think your insulin is fine as long as it doesn't look cloudy. I've gotten bubbles like that in my pen and I don't inject anything back into the pen. I just try to ignore it and draw the insulin around it.

Ok yeah the insulin looks fine. Never thought to explain to them not to add air just showed them where to put the needle to draw it up.
