Furball was happy & purry & playful this morning. One of my other cats likes to play with pencils, so I keep a bag of pencils under my desk for her. She goes and gets them out when she wants to play. Furball found some of them on the floor this morning and was batting them around.

Baby wouldn't open her eye for her ointment this morning. All I managed to do was rub a little around her closed eye. I hope some got in. Now that she knows what's coming, it's going to be hard to get any in. I only need to give it to her for 3 to 4 days. Hopefully her eye will get better by then.

What a nice start for Furball this morning. That is practically blue. YAY! :-D

It is great to read that Furball was playful. Fun when it is things that we have at home. I love the pencil story.

Good luck with Baby and the ointment for her eye. Funny how they pick up on meds that are headed their way. Be good Baby, let Mama help you get better.

Hi, Deborah, YAY for Furball playing!! How cute that you keep pencils out just for playing with. It's funny that cat toys in my house don't get touched, but non-cat-toys are a big hit (like hair ties, bottle caps, paper, my toes) :lol: .

Sending vines to Baby ~ I hope her eye heals soon.

That's cute that Furball was borrowing pencil toys! Please give that happy purry sweet one a big scritch from me. And lots of "get better quick" vines for Baby's eye. .. Let mom put that goop by your eye sweet one.. It'll get all better!!

Aw, poor Baby. It's kind of evil, but it's for the greater good, and only for a few days. I hope you'll see an improvement soon.

Furball has had a nice, slow slide back to the lagoon today.

Baby's eye does look better this afternoon. Hopefully she won't fight too much on the ointment tonight. I have to give it to her twice a day.

It's been an all day slide for Furball. I took the fat off of her dose when I shot this evening. I hope she'll surf safely.

Baby still wouldn't open her eye for me this evening. I hope some of the ointment is getting in her eye. I don't have enough hands to restrain her and hold her eye open. She's very hard to restrain.

Great cycle today for Furball. Good shootin' Carla.

I too like the pencil story. It's great how they can find their own toys. Sorry about Baby and the ointment. Liquid drops are so much easier to give if they are being stubborn about their eyes.

I remembered something they teach people who are having trouble testing their kitties, cocooning them in a towel. I wrapped Baby up in a towel and put her between my legs and managed to pry her eye open just a little bit and get some ointment in. She's mad at me now.

Wow, go Furball, lovely PMPS! Way to go girl! I can sympathize with you Carla with the ointment for Baby. I am doing ear drops for Sylvester's ear infections, and he can be a WILD guy. a couple of times I have wondered how I survived without having my eyes scratched out. :lol:

So glad Furball feeling better and playing that is great, hope you can get the meds in the eye Taz is so hard sometimes he acts like I'm killing him mol :smile:
 
Wow, Furball, what a nice surf for you!!

Good luck on Baby's eye med, Carla. I know how hard it can be getting any kind of medicine in them (except for insulin, that is the easiest!! :-D ) Hopefully you will be forgiven quickly!
