What is difficult about testing is that Blue is on Lantus and his onset is different from Eddie's, who is on Levemir. The challenge is that when I test at times other than AMPS or PMPS, I give a treat and perhaps a snack if warranted. If I'm testing Blue and Eddie shows up, I can't comfortably give Blue a snack as Eddie is all over it. I have to be quite covert about testing Blue before Eddie.
 
A low carb freeze dried meat treat is a good test treat. That both can eat, even if it isn’t test time for both. Unless of course, you are trying to get one or the other to lose weight.

No, it's more like Blue no longer has teeth so I have to ensure he gets his test treat and it has be easy to melt in his mouth. :cat:
