I have emailed the vet a couple of hours ago asking for a prescription for the anti-nausea med. Hopefully I can get it tomorrow.
Blaze has had some nausea issues these past 10 days. At first it was because he had a ball of grass in his stomach, which he threw up 3 days later. After throwing the grass up, he seemed to be wanting to eat again but he was fussy with flavours. He didn't want to have the usual cod one...I think he was probably still a bit nauseous. Because he needs to eat for the insulin, I tried different flavours and he started eating the fish and shrimp flaked one (0% carb). He ate it no problem for 3 days...and yesterday and today he started to throw up what he eats. I think maybe the new type of FF upset his stomach.
He just ate a bit of the 9 % now and I hope he keeps it down. His poop is still ok up to this point.
Yes, he is still bouncy. We went to the vet on the 20th of Sept. He saw his BG levels and told me to give him 1 Unit now. So I have been doing that.
Thankfully it looks like his BG is starting to go back up slowly, I just tested him.
Things have been very challenging to say the least. I am trying to stay afloat but not succeeding very well.
