10/03/18 Texas Gizmo PMPS=79, +3=114, +4.5=147, +11=108

Maybe better numbers have her not so hungry?
Could be. He is eating just not as much. My main concern is why is he dropping dosing amounts so fast? All I can think about is cancer. I don't think I have seen this here before. Has it happened where a long term has dropped a full unit dose in less than a month and gone to good numbers and not had something seriously wrong? Look at his history. He has never done this before. Ever.

He is being pretty lethargic but still semi-interactive (normal). He came up stairs and got his evening brushing and lovins. Had a nice poo this morning. Drinking from his water bowls. Weight maintaining (2+ months) Ate about 95% of his PMPS food. Just gave him 50mL(?) fluids.

HE!!!! Typo.

I will have to check out Bubba's decline down the dosing ladder after dinner. But, I think it was even more than that. To be continued.......

Thank you. I don't know whether to laugh or cry but right now crying. I am so stressed at work with these numbers. Internet is still an issue so Gizmocam is hit/miss. On top of that electric company shut off power for maintenance today for 3 hours. 10a-1p. Please, please let me know on Bubba's ladder slide. How long was he on insulin the first time?

If it makes any sense it is the unknown that has me upset more than anything. From what @Marje and Gracie says I am not sure anything would show in bloodwork (cancer). Is it truly possible that he is headed for otj?

AHHHH I feel your concern BUT, look at Bubba's SS from 2016 and start at 1/16 where he was at 5.25 units. See how fast he went racing down the dosing ladder. He was about 14 month after DX then but probably a long time past that with actually being FD.

Don't go looking for trouble until it smacks you in the face. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Sending prayers for your heart and mind to be at rest , Lizzie ❤️ Agree with Bobbie ...don’t trouble trouble til trouble troubles you ❤️:bighug:❤️:bighug:All will be well :bighug:

Look at Furball's SS for August 2015 before she went OTJ. When things changed she came down the dosing ladder quickly. She got messed up from Tresaderm in September and I had to get her back on track. Try not to assume the worst. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Gizmo’s numbers look great! Nothing like having to be at work wondering if your kitty is ok!!!:arghh::arghh::arghh:
Hopefully he’s just decided to really work the juice!

Some cancers might be difficult to detect from routine labs.

Look at Max’s SS. He went from 2.75u to OTJ in less than two months. He crossed from cancer two months later.

Gizmo’s SS looks very different to me. We’ve also had cats be FD and bouncey for over two years and then they raced down the dosing scale, went OTJ, and are still alive and in remission 7+ years later.

Try not to worry...easy for me to say, I know. I hope he starts to eat better.
