Both beans were very tired last night and went to bed before 10. However, Miss Blackie got all of her meals, and I'm glad that she went up 1/2 hour after her +3 last night. I'm guessing that someone volcanoed sometime last night due to the slightly higher # this morning. I tell ya... She can't get away with it. :lol: This morning, I saw her at the water bowl for a little drink. Carbs will do that to her. Unfortunately, with as many cats that I have in this house, carbs will be inevitable. All I can do is do my best to catch her before she gets to it (providing I'm conscious, that is :lol: ). At 4 P's in place, including 'tude, which is a "t". Tomorrow's day 7 of this dose, and then it'll be reduction time for Tuesday. Unless she has other plans for me today... Nah!!!! NOT her.

MY WISH: For God to help those ailing make a full and speedy recovery... For God to help heal the broken hearts of those who have lost a beloved pet and/or human... For everyone to have great #s... For everyone to be OTJ.

Hi Angela, it's still a nice AMPS even if Blackie did sneak something good with carbs last night! How many cats own you? :lol: Have a nice day and hope you can get some rest.

Oookkkk... I guess she panicked because I had to step outside for a bit between her feedings. :lol:

On another note, I saw one of her sons, Groucho, laying by the water bowl. Naturally, I thought, "Oh, carp, not again?" Out came the meter, and the lancet, and who decided to jump onto the table? Definitely NOT Groucho, but Miss Blackie. :lol: I gently picked her up, and told her, "Not this time, sweetheart. This time I need to test your son, Groucho." So, got Groucho (of course he's not used to getting treated like Blackie is), and I poked him twice (wasn't sure if I got the poke in the first time, so hence the 2nd poke... Poor baby!), and he tested 72. WHEW! He may have been laying in the sun because his ears were warm. Just checking them when I can. Don't need another diabetic in the family. One's enough.

I have 9 cats in total that own me. :lol: I AM, after all, THEIR staff, and believe me, they don't let me forget it, either. :lol:

Ohhh I wanted to stop by and thank you for all your suport over this past week. And see how your kitty is doing. I understand about keeping the crew under control. We only have 7 and trying to make sure everyone eats right and their food only - well my hat is off to you! :-D And Blackie I feel for you - carbs are a girls best friend!!!!

The 9 cats are all related (not to each other exactly). Blackie has 4 children (Daisy, Tiny (sisters), Grouch and Jr. Mint (brothers)), Scooter and Bubba are uncle and nephew respectively (Scooter was our late beloved Precious' son, and Bubba was Precious' sister Jade's son), Aurora and Shadow we "think" (and according to the neighbor whom we got them from) are mother and daughter respectively. So, yeah, 9 cats. Blackie's the mouthiest one of them all, but Groucho, Bubba and Jr. Mint can be just as harmonious, and so can Tiny. Daisy, on the other hand, has a dainty meow, as does Aurora. Shadow, not so much a meow. Shadow's our outdoor kitty.

Wow Angela....I just popped on Stella and Mary's and saw the same - must be something in this cool air. We were flat as can be and then BAM.....+6 got us! I think I'm a little bit ahead of the clock than you guys and wish you delicious ~O) ~O) ~O) and of course...a forgiving Monday! Fun times!!
