10/01 Squeaks AMPS: 442 +3, 437 +4, 427 +5 Next day update!

Might want to double check that link in the Previous Post. It didn't work for me.

As far as rising numbers, there are several reasons for them. Amongst those reasons are "Squeakers is a cat!". Seriously though, take a read through the Sticky Note What is the Insulin Depot? for some ideas why numbers might not be as expected. An additional possibility is a possibility we sometimes call "the high before the fall". As a cat is about to break a bounce, sometimes their numbers will climb up, just before they break the bounce and come down. Tonight is cycle five after the last green on the AM 29th cycle, so it's also a possibility. I learned the hard way to be patient and not increase at those seeming random rises.

very much LOL to the cat joke. It's rue, it could just be "because he can" I'm definitely getting a lesson in "every cat is different" with him. I don't remember Mouse giving me this much trouble. I know she had a bad day or two, but it seriously felt like a walk in the park compared to what I'm dealing with when it comes to Squeaks. I'll read up on a bounce, I don't think Mouse ever bounced, so this is really a brand new experience for me.

I think my big concern is at what point do I consider taking him to the emergency vet, and what would they really be able to do for him, considering he definitely got his dose tonight.
