on a positive note...he's not inhaling massive quantities of food; he's alot calmer and hasn't been hissy or growly; he's been playing a little bit.
but this is a little confusing to me......shouldn't he still feel crappy and want to eat alot??
I guess that's where the ECID comes into play, lol
I should b able to get a couple of spot checks tomorrow, after a couple of full days on this dose.

I know what you mean. Grayson has been upwards of 10-3oz cans a day... but today, he just had number 3. Most Acro-parents attribute that to the tumor sputtering, but sometimes I think it's just the direction of the wind! :lol: We're happy to see them acting "normal" (whatever that is!), but when they do, we worry something's wrong! All we can do is keep an eye on them and make sure everything else is normal and stay on top of any changes we see. I'm still recording Grayson's food intake on his SS. It used to be to justify the spikes, but since the Acro dx, and the change to Lev, it seems sometimes to affect, and other times not. On ProZinc, I could see a 30 point spike/can pretty consistently.
Hoping Dante can stay in some nice numbers for you! How do you get him to do so well when you do a curve???!!!

I don't remember moods for either guy early on - I do remember the non-stop eating. Both had lost a lot of weight. I still kick myself for not catching on with Beau. I kept telling myself the weight loss dry food was finally working :roll: Boy, did it ever! %$#^&*!
Not knowing what Dante's first home situation was, and why he was dumped, it's hard to tell what he is thinking. Maybe he is finally starting to think he is safe and the food will always be there on schedule and he will be taken care of, etc. He may have trust issues still because of feeling "gotten rid of" twice. He may be letting go of a fear that if he trusts you and starts to let his guard down he will be shipped off somewhere else again. He has been through a lot in the recent months.
