Shooting the moon yesterday

Zener is slowly coming down from his moon landing last night. :roll: Appy is good this morning. He did a little yard patrol and is now napping on the bed. I see a nice poo in the garage litter box. Now I need to watch for a Tillie poo. :lol:

OT: Anne made it safely and on time to Bonn but wasn't able to sleep much on the plane. Ugh. I don't know how she does it. Meetings start tomorrow so she's got a little time to rest up.

Thinking of ailing kitties and beans. Sending tons of healing vines to Melissa and Tarragon's two young friends, Kaitlyn and Chelsea, who were in car accidents. Their moms specifically asked for prayers to stop posturing. Tons of surgery vines for Rhiannon's Shadow who is getting a lump on her tail removed today. Appy vines to Jamie's Jupiter and healing vines to Mariko's Lucy. Paws crossed for Sassy's OTJ trial. The high dose kitties are making progress. :-D Happy Fursday, LL!

Keep sliding Z! Slow is good , but stopping isn't! I love seeing the happy appy!

I'm glad that Anne is down safely. I hope her jet lag won't bee too bad,

Yay for a good appy this morning. I hope Zener slides down today. I'm glad Anne made it safely. I hope she can get caught up on some sleep.

Missed your condo yesterday, but it looks like the Z Man is back on the Yellow Team tonight.

Glad to hear that Anne had a good flight, even though she didn't sleep (I can't sleep on those Eastbound flights, either). Bonn is a lovely small city. Has she been there before?

Liz, I hope that your cold is getting better. This will be a good weekend to finally lick it!

Thank you for visiting, everyone. Zener got his first Adequan shot at the vet's today. We were going to wait until Anne got back from Germany but I decided that would be 2 weeks and I could handle taking him to the vet for a shot. Funny thing was I saw our vet as we were leaving and she was teasing me a bit about being a wimp for not giving the shot myself. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Then Zener went on a little adventure with me and we picked up some soup that I had ordered. I wonder if he knew it wasn't the usual way home. He was looking out his carrier and seemed pretty bright eyed about it all. Fortunately, he peed right before we left for the vet so he didn't pee in his carrier.

Unfortunately, he puked tonight after his meds (Zantac, ondansetron and cypro) and his first bowl of food. It seemed to be a scarf and barf as he ate again right away. I didn't give him any more meds as I didn't see any pill pockets in the puke so I am thinking that he might have absorbed some of it. I was going to move his shot up by 30 mins but we ended up at about the same time as last night.

I wondered if the puke might be from the Adequan shot but it doesn't seem like there are usually any ill effects. Paws crossed that it helps him. He's moving pretty good tonight. :-D I guess that's it for the drama-rama here tonight... Oh, wait, there was one other thing: Tillie just had a MASSIVE poo! :shock: :shock: :shock: Even Detective Poo was shocked. :lol: It was a nice consistency so it looks like the miralax dose is about right. :-D :lol:

ETA: Yes, I am feeling better, finally. My throat is still scratchy and I get hoarse quickly but I can talk. :-D
 
What a great (well, mostly great) report tonight. Sorry to hear about the scarf and barf, but yay on Zener's numbers, moving well, shot went well and got to go on an adventure with Liz-bean. Love the happy crappy report for Tillie!!!! Good job!!!! Glad you're feeling better, Liz. Still sending feel-betterer vines! :-D and hope Anne can rest up before all of her meetings start. Sleep well!!

I hope the adequan shot helps Zener. I'd love to see him slide down but I know you still need your rest. I hope you will start making big improvements soon.

I bet the last thing Anne needed was to travel right now. That trip takes a lot out of you if you are well but to have been so sick....and it can be cold in Europe in the winter; not too different than what you are used to, though.
