Hi everybody. Sorry I've been MIA for the last week or so. Tori has been fine. Her numbers have been pretty good. Lots of blues and yellows and some greens as well. She's been feeling really good lately. Feisty and full of p---s and vinegar. Her appetite has been good and all the P's have been in place each day. She's due for her next chemo at the end of this coming week. We got to keep that nasty lymphoma in its place where it belongs.
As for me I've been having kind of a hard time trying to come to terms with what is happening with my son and his health. They are almost certain now that he has what is called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome which is a rare collagen disorder. It is effecting his joints quite badly resulting in chronic pain. The neurologist that he saw also feels that it is causing a fibromyalgia. Now they also feel it is effecting his kidneys. He'll be seeing a nephrologist in a couple of weeks. All in all this is pretty well all I can think about. I'm trying to get my act together and just deal with it but it is real difficult. He's my baby and it's just so hard to see him in pain. This week he will have a bone scan and then next week he will be having his spine injected with an anesthetic to see if that will help with the pain.
Anyway enough of me.
I hope everybody has been doing OK. You have never been far from my thoughts. Will try and get my act together here and be around more.
