Good Morning, Everyone,
We're finally getting some snow: it's expected to snow all day and tonight and we will probably get about 6 inches (it's the light, fine snow type: the best for building the base for skiing).
Rusty woke me up in the very early morning hours by pressing his head against mine again. Then he fell asleep and was singing. What a cat! He ate again before his AMPS, but just a little. Good test and pretty good shot (he decided to lie down for the shot and it was hard to find skin, but I think I did!). We had our morning games: Red Ears and the string; Big Bug and the Cube; also Big Bug and the scratcher. Now I'm off to water the plants and Rusty is relaxing on his perch.

RRRUSTY is that you?? I am so sleepy tired from the party last night!! I can barely eat! Thanks for the wonderful duet with me & kitty chous back up group!! It is really getting great!!--Texas food is good , but I can hardly move today--All that dancing & eating & playing--WHOOSH I am tired--Just wanted to say I lubs you & gotta go back to sleep now!! Morning Ella! Rusty sounds so sweet...what a cat indeed! He is so lucky to have found you and Edward....and you are lucky that he is such a sweetie! Nice AMPS too! Love reading your reports!

Awesome amps Rusty! I love it: a sleeping singing kitty! Sings his bean back to sleep. Looks like a very nice day for Rusty.

SWEET on your snow. We were supposed to get some during the night, but alas - a no show. They are predicting some this week. I will believe it when it shows. I love it, but it wrecks havoc for our area - most people panic, and have no clue on how to drive in it: end result: chaos in Seattle.

news flash...IHOP REPORTS CAT/OWL MIXED BREED LEAVES SUBSTANTIAL TIP FOLLOWING CAT INVASION...

employees at IHOP were surprised in the early morning hours when a tour bus full of hungry, jubilant cats pulled up at the front door.
Breakfast orders were swift, specific, and widely varied. The cats were fairly well behaved, says the night manager...but service employees claim that they were stared at intently until the plates were delivered...and the cook staff was vastly displeased by the number of orders returned as "unsuitable for cat consumption".
What made the experience less traumatic, says the hostess...was the substantial tip left by a tall, interesting-looking long haired domestic gentleman with impeccable manners. "i believe they called him 'Dusty', or 'Trusty',something like that" she reported..."and we would like him to know that he is ALWAYS welcome at IHOP!"

maintenance employees report that the restrooms were "Cleaner than what we see with drunks, but i think we'll be re-sanding the landscaping out back"

What's an IHOP? Those kitties certainly did hop to it! Rusty didn't win the lottery yesterday. Wonder where he got the tip money?

never been to an IHOP?? International House Of Pancakes...

um...binks says that when Rusty sang last night...all the girl kitties were running up to him with dollar bills :lol:

Enjoy the snow, we had quite a bit too, and we're thinking of going for a hike in it.
Hope you enjoy your day and Rusty enjoys gazing and lazing on his perch.

Nope, Never been to an IHOP (have been to the Royal Canadian House of Pancakes, however. Does that count? )
Celi: I checked out the dates of birth of both Krall and Sutton and they are almost exact contemporaries: 1963 and 1964.
Sorry, I don't know Jane Monheit. Will have to check her out! (Here I must admit that my favorite female jazz vocalists are: Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughn, Anita O'Day, Ella Fitzgerald. Not necessarily in that order! My preferences reflect my advanced age!)

Rusty wants to go to bed, so we'll see everyone tomorrow!
