I woke up in the middle of the night to an odd alarm, it was Monster's phone alerting me that her sensor shut itself down at 3:17am. So I'll be without it today. I'll replace it tonight after work. I only have one, so the application has to be flawless. I'm still waiting for the replacements to come.

She's starting out in the blues today. A bit higher AMPS than I was expecting to see. And Angel is currently throwing up, 4 times so far, after eating her breakfast. I hope she's not coming down with something.

Those darned sensors. I hope the application goes great tonight - best of luck. 💙 I'm glad you're able to do poke tests as well so you won't be flying blind while you're Libre-less.

Do you have Cerenia? That works pretty well. Unless she won't stop, then you need the shot. I keep those on hand for my special ones. Hope she feels better soon.

Yes, of course! And Monster's +2 is not making me feel any better about leaving her. I tested and got 64, so I retested to confirm and got 66! That's quite a drop 😵

Angel is my puky girl. When they ate dry food she would throw up hairballs a few times a week but on wet food, it doesn't happen as much if at all. I hoping she just ate too fast. No I don't have any meds on hand for anything so I would have to take her in.
 
I get that. And try calling the vets office to leave her/him a message. If your baby is known to barf sometimes. So you can just go pick it up without an appointment. Wish a shot and if so, can avoid an office visit fee. My doc charges $79 just for the visit alone. I'm thankful she takes pity on me though, since she knows I do rescue. She rarely charges me for those or ultrasounds/xrays. It helps! Can't hurt to try, right?

I'm not too impressed with the vet i have now. They havent been involved in Monster's care except to call in the Libre. I sent them her curve and said, "ok looks good. Do another one in 2 months" Thinking of switching to the only cats vet, I just haven't yet.
 
So I just have to brag a little bit about my girl! I was dreading putting on the new sensor because of how she responds. She layer down, let me shave her spot, then stayed right there for the alcohol wipes she usually doesn't like the cold and wet... stayed right there waiting, I applied the sensor, I left it held down hoping and praying it stuck to her and not in the applicator, I was about to grab the butter knife to check it and she decided she was done and walked away, the applicator came up and it was still on her, thankfully. We are waiting the 60 minutes now. I feel desperate because I don't have any more on hand at the moment, so fingers crossed!

Then I went to give her the shot, and it nay have been a fur shot because by that time she was done and she didn't want me to touch her anymore so she moved and the syringe came out. Not really sure what she got, if any. I'll check her in a bit and see if it smells or is wet.

PS... I'm not bleeding from anywhere this time. I'm SOOOO proud of her ❤️
