Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (LOTS today Elsa! please.....), and Happy Fursday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, KBP kitteh barista pilot!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Bug and Lola are exhausted from all those football games!, and pizza parties, but they still want to be working today so..... They have decided that today is TURN-AROUND TRIPLE THURSDAY! They are doing triples on everything! Kinda cool huh! They say that since Wacky Wednesday was so wacky that they wants to give all kitties some fun times today, triple funs! What will that be.... I dunno! so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot Breve's, with beans from high in the Brazilian Mountains.... and for my mocha fans: a VENTI Quad Blueberry infused white mocha/mocha blend with white chocolate chips melted within, swirled with a raspberry puree, topped with a strawberry infused whip garnished with caramelized berry sprinkles and white chocolate curls and a caramel drizzle.......SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of 4 berry and vanilla and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with caramel and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are complimentary....

I hope everyone had a good Wednesday. it was nice to be back to having the boys here. Morning time still continues to be a great start for the around here. Nicholas's mammoth breffis continues. How can one little boy eat all that? Blackberries and raspberries and cherries, followed by waffles and bacon, and more berries. Then he topped it off with a Apple cimmamum nutrigrain bar. crazy.... but fun! I'd explode if I ate all that. With borderline weather yesterday we elected to keep it an indoor day, and of course he picked the Seattle Aquarium. DUH! Here's want I wrote late night about the day: "Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. Lola is on a time out, again. Three times this afternoon she has stepped on the power switch for this 'puter... and all connected to it. Let's see.... how much did I have to re-type! Not to mention the fact that this poor ole' puter does not like those type of shutdowns, and it just takes forever to reboot it all. Sheshhhhh. LOLA! Time out for you. :-x :-x :-x      Other than that... it has been an awesome day today, despite the weather. I has rained buckets here today, with a break now and then. Right ow I can see a minute patch of blue sky... but way off on the horizon is the ugliest band of dark ominous clouds. more rains. well duh, this is the Seattle area.... We ended up at the aquarium today. Nicholas's pick, a given. He had a great time there. We are at the point now that he knows the place so well that he will tell me on the drive into town (which is always full of such animated talk), and when we get there, what we are going to see. No if ands or buts, and we skip everything until he ahs seen what is on his game plan.   . So I let him play tour guide, and then we negotiate for what I want to see, and William. William loves the tropical fish - I am sure it is all the bright colors, the movement. Today was whale day, again, for Nicholas. He loves the whale exhibit. We must have visited that 5 times. Seals were top of the list today too. anywyas.... really nice time there. I had intended to stop in at MLT pool on the way home, so he could see our backup pool but he was toast by 12:30/1:00, and no way was he waking up, and napped for 3 hours... so MLT will be postponed, maybe tomorrow. It is no biggie if we don't at all, as our regular pool reopens next week. Nicholas has been so tired of late, and I am beginning to think that part of this fatigue that he is experiencing a growth spurt. He is getting lots of sleep at night, and mom and dad are having trouble getting him up in the morning, and when I get him he's beat. anywyas... I will be glad when that is resolved. :-D Sleep and grow well little man!

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   This morning things are very normal, very quiet... hmmmmmmmmmmm...... Once again Elsa has camped out on her spot on the sofa, Bug is in Mannie's bed, and Lola is on my lap. Supreme bliss rules here this morning. I so wish it would stay that way.... ;-) Lola will always be Lola: my crazy wild loveable sweet girl. We still have the glass pounding, the the frig door riding, and the towels shelf sitting while the bean showers, and the occasional plant dig, the paper chewing, and the never ending always present marathon runs. Bug and Elsa just stare.... You can see the thought processes: "She can't possibly be related..." I still think Bug initiates some of these romps, rolls and runs, The silent paw.... urging on the wild and crazy one. Elsa has been so good about evening hour cuddles. She will either sit on my lap or the back of the sofa and give me head butt after head butt. Such a great wise one she is. Today when Nicholas was about to head home with his dad he turns to em and says: "Grammie, I miss Mannie. He is happy sleeping in his garden. That is good." Yes, little man that he is, It is good. These remembrances of his best fur-buddy just come out of nowhere. Really very nice... and yes, Normalcy in MusketeerVille.

Have a great day everyone. I am back on Nicholas and William duty today. The weather is is very wet, so indoor it shall be. I still hope to make a visit to the MLT pool: (wrote this yesterday) Nicholas's regular pool is closed for a week for maintenance. Although I did find a back up pool for him (MLT), he wasn't all that sure that he wanted to swim there, as they did not have all the fun things that his regular pool has. so..... I'd like him to see this one for real, then decide. Gut says it will be a no go... the regular one has so much more to offer for little kids. I will try and get to condos when I can....

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!! cat_pet_icon

Re: 1/9 LOOSE LIPS: fishies & whales, and power switches...

I'd love to have NIcholas as my tour guide to visit that aquarium, especially that hands-on octopus!!! It's so nice to hear that he remembers Mannie. Of course, who could ever forget Mannie!! In his quiet, dignified way, he was larger than life!! Who else had such a nanner addiction?!! I loved that cat...still miss him even though I never got to touch him.

Tell Elsa that coffee sounds delish and I plan on having a few cups this morning!! ~O) ~O) ~O)

Have a great day with your boys!!!

Re: 1/9 LOOSE LIPS: fishies & whales, and power switches...

I'm not surprised Nicholas picked the aquarium. It looks like he had a blast again. That does look like a fun place to go. How neat that he still talks about Mannie.

Re: 1/9 LOOSE LIPS: fishies & whales, and power switches...

Oh, I miss going to the aquarium! We used to visit the one in Vancouver once a year when we visited my moms family as I grew up. I loved the whales and seals too :-D :-D Sweet cuddles and headbuts from Elsa, Lap cuddles from Lola, Bug cuddled in Mannie's bed, what a great way to spend time together! I hope your day goes good, maybe the back up pool will be great ;-)

Re: 1/9 LOOSE LIPS: fishies & whales, and power switches...

Sounds like a great day yesterday. Nicholas does love the aquarium. I bet William loves the colors of the fishies. So fun. How sweet on Mannie. Nicholas will never forget him. Mannie had a way of making an impressiion. Have a great day Michelle!

Re: 1/9 LOOSE LIPS: fishies & whales, and power switches...

Hi guys,
The acquarium is THE place to be on a rainy, chilly day! All that water!! Wow! Did you ever get to go swimming today? Interesting that Nicholas is having a growth spurt. Wow, what an appetite! I hope he catches up with his body and won't be so tired with all that growing!!

Elsa, we took your ~O) with us in our thermos to Potsdam today and enjoyed it on the trip. THANK YOU, Kitteh Barista!

Michelle, we are going to look tonight for the Northern Lights. We heard on the radio that they might be seen tonight. I'll let you know tomorrow.

Have a great evening,

Ella & Rusty

Re: 1/9 LOOSE LIPS: fishies & whales, and power switches...

Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. I'm finally home, and phew! Tired! I hope to be able to visit condos tonight, but forgive me if I can't... one tired grammie here.

Snow is finally coming down here in the passes (it is needed there) , good I think. When we were out today we could see that sky over the mtns that meant snow. kinda cool. Nicholas didn't quite get what I was talking about so we compared skies, the rainy one we had, and what he could see up over the mtns at the pass. His response: "oh Ok, I get it now. We need to go there. I want to see the snow, and it isn't snow clouds here"  too cute! We went to Snoqualmie today, up to the RR Museum there so he could see the trains. It was the one spot that had a rainless window until about noon, the rest were all wet by 10. That held to be true too. The skies opened up once we got back to the car about 11:45. Sheshhhh he loves trains. He was so sure that Thomas the Train would be there so off he went to find Thomas. :-D well of course no Thomas, so he ponders this and says "ok Thomas must be busy. I bet he is in Gold Bar, moving all those trains that were stuck last week". LMAO. so we made up this scenario on Thomas and Gold Bar and all that work. William spent the whole time babbling about whatever, and squealing anytime Nicholas ran or moved or played with a stick. it was a fun time. We met Erin for lunch after that - the usual time at Red Robin. William is a hoot. Kid LOVES burgers and fries. I thought he would come unglued until he got to taste it all. That was funny. A real fries fan that one, just like Big Bro Nicholas. Burgers are mighty fine in his book too. William was all grins as he's trying to figure out how to eat it, finally just shoved it in the mouth. So there sat the two boys, side by side having a fry pig-out. well, mostly Nicholas...  On the way home I asked Nicholas if he wanted to stop and see the Terrace pool. PLEASE! came the reply. So in we went, showed him how it all worked there, which is very different than the pool he usually swims in, and then we went into the pool area. omg - his face just lit up, huge smile. and then he asked if he could swim and play here. I told him could, maybe tomorrow when there is more time. he was ok with that, funny, but he didn't balk at the open locker room and showers and the lack of family rooms, nor the missing play stuff. All he saw was a pool, and water and what looked good. He just loves the water, wherever it may be. so we shall see.... maybe tomorrow if he wants. It is no biggie if he changes his mind. Enjoy your evening everyone. I will post the Picassa link in tomorrows condo.

Hi Ella - yupp, we figure that this must be a growth spurt. well i hope he catches up soon too. It's hard on these kids. Her agrees with you too on the Aquarium. Anytime we have ugly weather that is where he wants to go. No,we didn't make it to the pool that day - he just wasn't sure he wanted to in a pool he didn't know, and i didn't have William back up. COOL on the northern lights!! I so hope yu get to see them, please let me now if you do. very cine! We are so clouded over that even if it were possible here we couldn't.
Auntie Ella - you are so welcomes! Did I make enough? Hot enough? Hope so.... You need more tonight? I can bring the jet.... ~~ Elsa, KBP

Hi Melissa - it was fun yesterday. always a great place to go! I think so on Mannie and Nicholas. He mentioned him again at lunch today. Wanted to share his fries with Mannie. ;-) Just what Mannie would have needed: fries!

Hi Rachel - Very cool on eh aquarium. we go alot, Nichols just loves it there. I finally bought an annual pass, so it feasible to make as many trips as we do. THX on the kitties - I like it when they all "assume the sleeping position". THX too on the day, it was fun, and the pool received his approval. YAY!

Hi Carla - me neither - I can always count on his picking the aquarium when the weather is rainy. a given, and a great choice in my book. I think so too on Mannie - he's been talking about him nearly everyday. really very cool. :-D

Hi Patty - oh yes - he is an EXCELLENT tour guide! THX on Mannie... Nicholas remembers him so well, so we talk about tings they did together when he brings him up. LOL on the nanners!! more than true. silly cat, but he loved them and they were his, ALL HIS. THX on your thoughts I miss him too. there isn't a day that I don't think of him fondly. His nanner pile still remains in the living room. THX too: day was great!
Auntie Patty - you gots it! WOOT! I get to go to Vegas!! SWEET! See ya!! Elsa, KBP
