Happy Fursday! Sending tons of healing vines to all who need them like Shadow, Lucy, and Jupiter.

The Principessa and I had a very fun play session this morning with her shoestring. She was jumping and rolling around her little thrones and having a great old time. Tobes watched for just a little bit but then decided he had to get into the fun. When Daddy got up, she decided to have a chase through the house, tail in the air. I hope she is this happy tomorrow when it is Dreaded Lupita Friday!!

I almost had a heart attack this morning when I got up and tested her for AMPS. The meter (Relion Micro) read 379 :shock: :shock: :shock: I don't think she's ever been that high on levemir so I grabbed the other Micro and also the One Touch and retested. Both of the latter two meters read just about the same and since we use the Micro now, I used that number. We're still scratching our heads over her numbers but she does this same thing every January and it is a little on the frustrating side.....ok a lot on the frustrating side. She's been yellow all day today so we'll see what she does tonight and a dose increase could very well be in her future tomorrow. Wearing our patience pants isn't doing anything for her BG that's for sure ;-)

Sorry to have missed you all yesterday. It was a very long day back at work. I got home after Mike had done the T/F/S routine, we ate, and I fell asleep on the couch. Today, we decided to go see a movie while we could. Mike goes back to work tomorrow..... :cry:

Hey Marje,
Tell that sweet Gracie that the "Winter Blues" are better than the Winter Yellows! We have to make some allowances for the seasonal thing.

Yes...we are fine but thank you for worrying...a little? :-D :-D

We saw "The Hunger Games". It was good....I read all the books and they were better. But it was a distraction. :-D :-D

Ella...i do think there are others that notice the seasonal changes. I hope we can get her sorted out without having to go up too much because usually about mid Feb or early March, she gets into her "best" seasons.
 
Awww, I'm sorry that Mike goes back to work right away; I'm glad you are ok :o I want to see that movie...I read the books too and the previews look good ;-) I agree with Ella, winter blues are better Gracie! I'm glad her and Tobey are having nice romps together, so cute :-D That PMPS is much nicer, I hope you see a slide tonight...have a good one :razz:

Not usual Gracie numbers - funny how the seasons can effect their numbers. Glad to hear she is still her sweet, playful self :-D I have not seen or read any of the Hunger Games, that is on my list to do!

Ah, these kitties do like to keep their beans guessing. I think Gracie and Trix are in the same boat, with odd cycles and numbers during the yucky winter months. Interesting...and frustrating. Good luck with the dosecrease, if you decide to go for it!!
 
Hmph - Gracie has definitely seen some better runs. Weatherman says above average temps are right around the corner. Mayybe lil Gracie can get her numbers to match the degrees on the ol' thermometer? Nothing wrong with 70s! Have a good night down there!

I have been noticing that Gracie's numbers haven't been very Gracie-y (-ish?) lately.
It's interesting that you find this to be seasonal.
I wouldn't know that about Lucy yet because I haven't been doing this long enough, but I'll pay attention.
I wonder that could be causing it.....

I hope Gracie finds her green dress soon. ;-)
 
Thanks all....yes..it does seem to be seasonal with her. Who knows? I suppose it could be the pen but I don't think so.
 
Winter yellows??? No, no Gracie, it's winter blues. But really, your mamabean and all your friends would much rather see you start a new trend - Winter Greens :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: !!
