Well, there's that bounce I was figuring would happen after that drop from 115 to 52 last night!!
I guess if it had to happen, today was a good day though since I had to be out at +2 to take DM to the cardiologist and didn't get home until almost +9!
After seeing her +2 this morning, at least I didn't worry at all while we were gone!!
Was a long morning though....after the doctor saw her, he wanted bloodwork done, then we had to wait for them to check her pacemaker and then we had to wait again for an echo to be done! Felt like we were on a merry-go-round....Into the offices, out in the lobby...into the offices, out in the lobby....into the offices, out in the lobby.....
After all that, they increased her Lasix to 40mg twice a day after the bloodwork said she's got too much water (which was a surprise since she hasn't had any ankle, leg or hand edema) and then after I got home, they called about the echo and said they want to change one of her heart meds to something different, so I have to go back over there later and swap out her meds
He did say he wants her in PT, so there was no problem getting a release....he's a firm believer in keeping his patients up on their feet as much as possible, so we'll take a short break and start PT again next week. Hopefully the extra Lasix will help with her SOB so she can do more without having to take so many breaks
Mama is tired tonight, so I'm hoping China will be a good kitty and save any drama she has in mind for tomorrow!!
