We started a new insulin pen today because the other one has been used for awhile and we never use it for as long as others in the group can because we always find her numbers start to increase. So I want to see if that makes a difference

Just feeling so defeated and frustrated…..

Psst, your link for yesterday isn't working; I think it got cut off somehow. Here's one that should: ? - 1/8 Bella *some advice please* AMPS 251, +6.5 130

I'm sorry; it's so hard, and I think we've all been there. I sure have. :bighug:

It looks to me like she's ready for an increase to 1.5u. I know you said she hasn't been that high since dx, but their needs do change over time! What do you think?
I fixed it, sorry about that. Anytime her numbers are higher, I just feel like I’m doing something wrong and I’m failing her. 🫤

you’re not failing her. That’s why you’re here. Asking for help and guidance 💝

If she needs an increase, that’s ok. Her body just may need more insulin right now.
They need what they need.
It goes up and down.

And if you can feed small snacks as the insulin onsets, that can help reduce dives.
You can use an auto feeder or try a frozen catsickle which would melt and be fresh wet food for her later in the day or overnight.
