Good morning LL!
Happy furry purry guy this morning with all 5 p's. He was also the last one out of bed this morning after I went and drug him out for his test, shot, breffis. Silly boy. Lots of talking and wanting picked up after that. Sometimes I think he is spoiled.
Charlie is inside supervising again today and they were all settled into their spots watching Animal Planet when I left. I will go home at lunch and check on them.
Hope you all have a great day!
OT - a little bit about my friend's girls: Kaitlyn is off her breathing tube as of yesterday. She was ejected from the vehicle on Dec 27 and suffered broken knees, ankles, feet, bruised lungs. They did one surgery that night and another Dec 31. Something happened in the second surgery and she has had to be on a ventilator since. They think it was a blood clot that traveled into her lungs. They are going to try to reduce her Propofal and bring her out of the coma today.
Chelsea's car slid through a stop sign onto a major road and she was hit broadside Sunday. She suffered bleeding of the brain, bruised brain stem, bruised lungs, ruptured bladder, lacerated liver, shattered pelvis. Sunday they did surgery to repair her bladder. Next is surgery to repair her pelvis but they are trying to determine the extent of brain trauma first. Yesterday they took her off her Propofal completely and reduced her pain meds to try and wake her up. There hasn't been any change other than a spike in her blood pressure and heart rate.
Pam and Angela both appreciate all of the prayers they can get. It is every parent's worst nightmare and to have two of them happen so close to eachother is devastating. I know the power of this place. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
