Good evening LL!

Tarragon hung out in the blues and greens while we were gone. My ss isn't updated and won't be until tomorrow.

Mason and I had a lot of fun in LV but are glad to be home. We had a great time with Patty and Danielle but wished we could have seen them more. Patty is so sweet and Danielle is a doll. It wagasp much fun meeting Patty in person. Funny how it seems like we know each other so well and had never seen each other. My sister and DSIL were good but 3 days with them was about 1 day too much. Did I say that out loud??? :?

Tarragon was sweet and was DH's buddy while we were gone. Good thing DH stayed home. He had to take Charlie to the ER yesterday for his leg that he had surgery on 7 weeks ago. He was lifting it and wouldn't put pressure on it. They checked his liver and gave him a shot of painkiller and antibiotic and sent both home with them to take for 10 days. The vet isn't sure what is wrong but wants to get the inflammation down before he does an X-ray. It could be that he is rejecting the new knee. I take him back Wednesday to do another liver check and see how he is then. I was worried sick once I knew and just wanted to get back. Poor DH had his hands full. Since I've been home Charlie is at about 70% on his leg. How much is the painkiller and how much is mama being home remains to be seen.

Hope you all have a great evening!

glad to hear from you melissa! i wondered how your trip and meet-up with patty was. glad you guys had fun - my experience is that just about every trip is one day too long! kinda doesn't matter how long the trip lasts, you're just always ready to be home a little sooner.

hope charlie's leg settles down. tarragon's looking great.

Welcome back! I'm glad Mr. T. did so well while you were gone. Poor Charlie! I hope it isn't a rejection, that would be terrible to have him go through that!

Family members are dear, but sometimes actual time spent together is best experienced in small doses, the better to treasure those moments.

Welcome home, Melissa and Mason! Well said, Linda. Definitely can get too much togetherness. Great cycles for Tarragon, good job DH! it's hard being the BIC (Bean-In-Charge) by yourself. Poor Charlie, I hope it's just a little sprain.

Welcome back, Melissa, and so glad you had fun in NV and especially a nice time with Patty and Danielle. More than three days is too much for me, too, with my family.
So sorry to hear about Charlie and his knee. Sending some vines and prayers for him. I know how special he is to you. Take care and hope you get some rest.
