Happy Caturday L&L beans,

Fritz has been lip licking a lot not sure what changed:banghead: he is also sleeping more. Last night he wouldn't eat at his PM TFS. I think he was full from the food earlier, in fact last night he didn't wake up I had to wake him up and test he licked a couple times and went back to sleep. He is eating less today I'll watch. I sure hope these aren't symptoms of pancreatitis. I really can't handle one more thing :arghh:

I hope it's just from the carbs yesterday. I hear ya on that whole "one more thing". Are you now feeding him just twice a day (except when low)? Good luck with the new dose! Feel better Mr. Fritz :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Nope he gets fed 3 or 4 times but = 4.5 to 5 ounces of food maybe a bit more some days. I really don't like how the holistic lowers his BG and the steroid highers. It is a jugging act. I have been giving him the holistic with his AM and 3 to 4 hours later the steroids. My thought s are as the insulin wears off give the holistic and as the insulin kicks in give the steroid. Looks like it's working except it appears to take him real high and real low. That can't be good on Fritz as I see it in him. That is why I asked about the pancreatitis symptoms.
+5 59 gave him LCFF with Honey he wont touch any gravy foods.
 
I don't know anything about pancreatitis. To me he bounced from the lows yesterday and the depot is taking him down again today. I'd put the ? mark up in your title Deb. :bighug::bighug::bighug:
 
Sorry that Fritz isn't eating well for you and I hope too that it isn't a P'titis fare, the lip licking is indicative of nauseous. Hope he starts feeling better Deb and maybe the big difference is highs and lows are enough to make him feel like crap and nauseas . And I agree that I would try reversing the holistic and steroid dosing times that makes more sense to me too .:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:
 
It's also possible Fritz is changing his patterns/ needs etc. now that you're giving the pred consistently. A lot to manage Deb.
 
Hope Fritz can be on cruise control after the honey wears off
Uncle's been on a bit of a trampoline the last couple of days and seems off to me too
I'm hoping they just feel that way from all the hormone changes, extra pokes and feedings like Bobbie mentioned
 
Sending trainfulls of "banish any inklings of P'titis " vines your way..somebody should stuff that particular condition right back into Pandora's box and bury it at the bottom of a bottomless well...
( no, don't like P'titis one little bit)
